I wonder if the reverse would be true ...

I was just watching segment of Ellen D. I noticed that at least 90% of the audience was female, despite everyone knowing that Ellen is gay. And, by the way, I very much doubt that a significant of the female audience is gay. So I wonder if a talk how hosted by a gay male would have a 90% male audience, again where majority of the audience is straight? Somehow, I think not, unless of course, the talk show was sports related :)

Speaking of which, is it just me, or does Michael Landsberg, host of "Off the Record", seem gay to you? If he isn't, he should change how he applies his on air makeup.

females love talk shows, the ones with lots of males there are usually the risque ones talking about sex and baby daddies and paternity tests lmao..so they can howl louder and make noise!

..^...You are most likley right Gandalf, but Gay men have been represented well in the Entertainment community. All you have to do is watch the Sitcoms in the line-up this season.
We think of it differently now than past years..Having said that, we all have our personal boundries.
I know a few Gay guys ,and I don't treat them any different in social situations, or business...But I do draw the line at going to a Gay Bar with them to have a drink.
That is not in my comfort zone.

of course it would be a predominantly female audience, it's a yak fest.
same w Oprah, The View, etc. yakety-yak.

I doubt ML is gay, even the NFL panel have make-up on.
Howie, Terry, Michael and the gang.
but agree with you that Landsberg's make-up is a tad thick.

It is how he does his eye brows that I find particularly strange. Reminds me of Tim Curry's character in Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I hadn't noticed the eyebrow thing but will make a note next time OTR is on.
Tim Curry…really? lol.

eyebrows aside, I don't really find ML's persona as host interesting.
he tries too hard to be one of the guys and definitely sucks up when former enforcers
are being interviewed.
