Voice mail box being full at a time you were expected to call to confirm is the most frustrating thing. It hasn't happened to me yet, but initial contact being thwarted by that has. (Not with the SP in question). It sure makes me think twice about bothering to try to make an appt.
If I was an SP, I would change my message to relate to the current situation. (Such as "I'm not taking appts tonight, but you can leave a message for appts tomorrow". I've heard a few do that, and it's always impressed me). Anything that gives a pooner an idea that you're there and care about his potential business.
2 days ahead? Christ, I work on the next half hour!
I have made appointments ahead of time - Szabina, Special Ladies to name a couple but that is the rare occasion that I know where I am going to be the next day. Most of the time I will find myself getting that "loving feeling" and I will call whoever is in the neighborhood.g
this is why i almost exclusively book with the agencies ...
if who i want isn't working or doesn't show or shows up
and isn't as advertised there's usually someone else just
about as good (oft times better) willing to step up.
rather than wasting time in Vancouver you should have booked
some extra time in Victoria ... better rates and excellent
service ... and the agencies are very good about making
right any problems you may encounter.

Geez guys, I have found the ones worth seeing are much more likely to be professional about it. They don't have bad days, they don't "double book", they answer e-mails, they leave messages on their answering machines saying what day it is and if they are available. They run their businesses like businesses.
How can you "double book" by the way? Guys in business say this and it drives me crazy. If you have a "book" and use it, you must be deliberately writing in two appointments in the same space.
Sure, the horny toad will leap on my back from time to time and I find myself wheeling into an MP or phoning around for whomever is close by but almost all of the time I regret it. I have limited dollars to spend on this hobby and if I just go have a good wank if I can't connect with a good fave or well reviewed sweetie, I always pat my wallet afterwards and say:
"Buddy, thanks for staying in the pocket. I'll set something up real nice for ya. You'll be a very happy little eelskin when you do get to come out to play."

My most frustrating exp was when a very well reviewed, gorgeous SP came out of retirement for a few weeks. Set up an appt, she had to reschedule, second appt was confirmed, an hour prior - full pm box and no phone # stopped me from seeing her. She is still #1 on my hoping to (must) see list.
Some SPs are difficult to get a hold of,but, some days the stars, the sun and the pooning gods are all in sync and you get through on the day you want an appt - three times lucky - Karalynn, VIL and YL.
Some days when everyone seems busy or away agencies provide a great alternative, then you just hope their line-up matches your desires (eg. Chrissy at BBC).
But appts are necessary if you want to be certain to see some ladies like Szabina, Iz or Miranda.

cupla years ago, was havin a session wid my favorite. Well, goldangit, she starts havin her period right in the midle of teh sesion. She's gotta take a week off. So I booked a sesion with anuder of my favs couple days later. Got there, she meets me outside der room. No go, she jes started havin her period dat morning. Oh shit, shit!! So i go to red alert, book anoder sesion wid my third alternate. Got there a few minutes early. she meet me in teh reception room. Yup!! she jus started havin her period too. That was a very very long week, wid the Palm sistahs gittin a very good workout.
