Does anyone know any tricks to getting the last remaining dollops out of the stupidly-shaped Ketchup, Mayonnaise and Mustard bottles we use?

Go to a Dollar store and buy a pack of those plastic spatulas. There are usually 4 or 5 of different sizes.

Just use a knife to cut off the bottom of the bottle and you're there.

Store them in the fridge upside down:)
Actually I usually do that. This was a guests-unexpectedly-arrive situation and I had to make a few things and hadn't flipped the bottle yet. Aggravating they are designed to make it impossible to access.

Depending on how fast you use the stuff, you are probably safer to throw it out rather then spread some nice moldy goodies on your food.
