How often is it that people get arrested for hiring escorts? I heard that while its technically against the law, its taken very lightly in Vancouver? Like cops know that its happening but they don't care. Is this true? Because I don't really hear of that many people getting into trouble with the law for hiring escorts.

The Sale of Sexual services in Canada is not illegal. The purchase of sexual services is Illegal currently but the current government will likely revoke that. Therefore the transaction you will see is for companionship and what two grown adults do with that time is between them. Turns out it’s very difficult to prosecute as the cops actually have to witness an exchange transaction take place for sex. OR they can trick you in to a confession which for most smart people is difficult to get out of you. Therefore police have little time or resources to pursue such nonsense especially in Vancouver so they are more concerned with underage prostitutes and the safety of prostitutes. Poon away friend, your’re not likely to run afoul of the law for simple pooning.
If you stick to quality agencies and well reviewed independent ladies, your chances of trouble are pretty much nil.
How can you tell if someone is independent on sites like Leo List? Literally every post has '' 100000000% absolutely independent '' written on it.

What about e-transfers though? I mean can they use e-transfers as a '' proof of transaction for sex ''? Some girls ask for that beforehand. I realize a lot of scammers take part in that, but there a few genuine providers who also ask for that.

The cops would still have to be in the room when you sent the email transfer for her services. I highly suggest if you go to see a companion and there is a cop sitting in the room you don't discuss transactions for sex.
Mind you it could be Ms. Hunter sitting there in her popo uniform on and her handcuffs with a paddle waiting to spank you, then it wouldn't be a bad thing.

The only way that would happen is if you put it in your etransfer notes as sex services which nobody would do. Etransfers prove that you sent money to a person. There's nothing pointing to for sexual services unless you admit to it which would be foolish.
Etransfers are not easily traceable without the cops going to through the banks. And no bank is going to freely hand over your information to a cop no matter how nicely they ask. In order for cops to get your information from an etransfer they need to go to a court and get a warrant and then send a demand to the bank and then they’ll review it. It’s not worth all that time and effort to bust one guy.
Based upon the more recent sting operations, LEOs appear more interested in those who go after under age women. At least for now. Use well reviewed providers especially those who are independent and you will be safe in their hands. And think with your big head.
