Hi guys, I wanted to go on a trip to a couple of destinations (probably Thailand, the Philippines, and Columbia) and I wanted to know what are the best practices to find quality girls and not get scammed especially in one-on-one situations? Please let me know if I need to add any details to my question

I am in Colombia right now and honestly if I had not been here before I wouldn't come here. It is alot more dangerous than it was even just a year ago.
Thailand I never felt unsafe no matter where I was what time it was or if I was drunk.
Colombia a totally different vibe, avoid tinder or things like that if it is your first time here, stick to casa"s or strip clubs.
International sex guide, Bangkok addicts , Pattaya addicts , and Philippines addicts have all the information you’re looking for. These sources will have threads with up to date reviews of bars, spas agencies, advice on using red light social media and sometimes even provider contact info. They will also have general advice about avoiding grift and danger and members will report when they encounter it.
I would personally stick to the advice on those boards and not rely on locals unless they’re expats you know well. Just inviting yourself to be scammed outrighit or far worse:drugged , set up etc.

I was in Thailand decades ago and the whole vibe of exploiting women in 3rd world countries for cheap sex seemed kind of self delusional. Just got the vibe that the locals aren't all that thrilled with the whole scenario. I went with my girlfriend at the time. But got the picture. Not really a feel good kind of place.
It is only cheap by our standards it is very well paying for the girl compared to what the minimum wage here is. Lets face it most of these girls would be working minimum wage for 10 hour shifts 6 days a week if they were not meeting "rich" gringos. Colombia is from the web sites I have looked at is considered a 2nd world country, they have electricity and running water
This is my take on it as well. Middle, upper middle and above who don’t directly benefit from the red light scene are less likely to be in favour of it all. The individuals and businesses who do cater to visitors obviously sing a different tune, and so too would the secondary beneficiaries (even if quietly.)

I wasn't really judging anyone who partakes in pooning in Colombia. I know people from there at work. Quite the attitude. So no. I don't see them as being particularly victimized or exploited. However. I would say that Thailand is better place to go to rather than Colombia. And I have been to both. In Thailand, you can relax.
With regards to attitudes towards white guys, I would say that in the last 10 years, the Thai girls have honed their skills so that most of the time it is the foreigner that gets exploited. The older girls train the newer girls and to them it becomes a life style. Most of the girls I met there had 3 or 4 guys on the hook and were getting money sent to them while doing the bar scene. They make much more money than the average person there and the cost of living there is not outrageous. Of course, they end up drinking too much, having issues, etc. but so do all their clients. The ones who are really exploiting these girls are their dead beat relatives and friends.
