Just got pulled over for picking up an sw but nothing happened. The cop let me go just told me i might get checked more often thats all cuz they now have a record of me picking up a sw. What can happen if anythint and does he mean my car and dl is flagged for vpd. Will it show up as an actual record if i goto the usa or whatever? Thanks.

Hey 7 year rookie. I think you're a record holder for longest self-acknowledged rookie!

You have most likely been entered in the DISC program (Deter and Identify Sex Consumers), a software program the VPD invented themselves. Do a Google search. Unless you have a job with a serious amount of public accountabilty and scrutiny--and judging from your spelling and punctuation, I'm pretty sure you don't -- the record remains with them but IS accessible to all LE agencies who subscribe to it, including all Lower Mainland police agencies and the RCMP. If they know to look for you as a known sex consumer, it may come up with the US Border Services since they too have access to these databases.

Maybe call a trial lawyer to check it out for you if you REALLY want to know.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that if SW's start disappearing and you're plate shows up more than once, there's a reasonable good chance they'd want to speak to you, and I suspect this is the main purpose of gathering this information.

This happened to me a little over a year ago on Kingsway. The vice cop pulled me over and gave me a lecture, said I'm supporting the drug habits of these women and said I should go to Nevada where it's legal. He said he made a disc entry on me that identified me as a sex consumer. He said if I was ever caught in the area again soliciting prostitutes I would be arrested and charged. I was let off easy. I did go out a few more times later on but stopped because I was not happy with the quality of service from SW's and also the risk of getting caught again by LE was too great. Perb also helped get me away from cruising for SW's.

Won't show up on your record for travel purposes, just means if you are caught doing it again you will not be so lucky. Even if pulled over and they run your plates, you will be getting checked out. Bottom line......stay the hell away from SW's and seedy areas.

To the OP....you just got given a shitload of good free advise and as for what Chocoholic said you also got the voice of experience giving you advise....my advise is
for you to STAY AWAY FROM SW'S....the risk is just not worth it and for the most part the service you get is a waste of money....not to mention your risk for robbery/personal injury/STD's is higher as well.....oh yeah and the whole LE risk is also there.

You have a plethora of options in the GVRD including local indies as well as a shitload of asian micros...be smart and dont go cruising for SW's....it is just not worth it.

I think social workers tell SW's to leave an extra condom in your car (especially if you have sex in the car) so you get caught and to stop you from doing it again. Alot of the SW's do this. Fortunately for me, no one else uses my car because I live alone. So that is another risk you take when you hire a SW.

Most street workers do not always use condoms especially for blow jobs. With street workers it is very very important you always use a rubber for all services. If your getting a hand job check her hands for wounds , and bandages. 90%( it may be higher) of people working the DTES strolls and alley ways have HIV or full blown AIDS. Cruising Kinsgway may be exciting and all that but there are areas called the "kiddie stroll" If the police think your trying to pick up an underage street worker you could be entered into many data bases not just Canadian but international data bases as well including our Canadian border patrol . When the police talk to you they are entering your licence and registration meaning your personal identification as well as your vehicle information. Yes your vehicle information will go into the police data base. NO QUESTION .

How do you know this? And do you mean the program, such as PIRS or DISC automatically sends a file to INTERPOL? You need to provide evidence and details, not just conjecture (IE, don't tell us "some cop friend told me blah blah blah" otherwise you're just...well...pulling it out of your ass).

90% of all intravenous drug users in the DTES are HIV or AIDS infected. The rate of new infections in Vancouver is staggering and yes at a rate that you would identify as Haiti or South Africa. There are claims the rate of new infections is slowing down but I often wonder if that information is given monthly or yearly .

If you don't think that your identification is not passed on to other jurisdictions your giving bad advice. Police will and do as they see fit. Its up to YOU the sex consumer to pay a Lawyer to have it checked out reviewed and removed.

I don't need to speak to the police about what they do I know what they do becasue I have seen the court documents to prove exactly what a police officer is willing to do to a John who does not follow the rules. If they want to fuck you up and they are willing to put the time in you can bet your ass will be in an embarrassing situation down the road.

Sex trade workers are known all over the world for not using condoms. Street workers and "High Priced Escorts" a like.
