Nope....never been to any other country other than the USA and the UK....but I do have plans to do some

The culture in HK is different. They raid wherever the pooning area is well known. Yes, one of the reasons is like what you said, but the other is due to gangsters/triads. Being naturally frugal, my favorite stomping ground in HK isn`t the WanChai bar-girl scene nor the overhyped walk-ups, but rather the Temple Market Thai girl bonanza. It`s HK$120 for 20-25 min—the equivalent of less than $17. But why not add a HK$40 tip? (I`ve found pre-tipping very motivational.)
