hey, so um this my first entry ever... and well i think its well worth a discussion.. so i message some one in Craigs list. and i know its not the erotic services, but the casual encounters, and i really wanted a reply, as i just want to poon, she is trying to lead me into a site.. and its probably one of those 'FIND SEX IN YOUR TOWN' type thing, is this what it all leads up to is you have to pay for a subscription to my free ad for free sex... hmm alittle questionable....?

It is very likely a scam to get your CC#.........never give you card number out. Once it it out there who the hell knows what kind of charges are going to be on it.
If you are using CL and wanting to poon, you should be in the "Erotic Services" section. A lot of those are scams or ripoffs as well, but if you can work through that, you can find the odd really good girl and a good time. "Casual Encounters" has some girls that do play for pay, look for the girls interested in "generous gentleman" type guys, again, scams to beware, no CC# and who knows.
If you are new you should stick with the well reviewed and well liked girls on PERB. CL is not really for beginners, it is those type of guys that the scams and ripoff girls are looking for and counting on to make a buck.
Let the buyer beware!!

heh ok, thank you... it is alittle confusing when you do get one of those things, i was just not sure at all, but thank you, as one of you did say, i am a beginner, just times are tough right now, so just tryin to find a quick fix, otherwise i would be seeing the beautiful and gorgeous women of perb,... again Thank you 
Word of advice, is don't try to lowball. There are lots of options at 120-150, including fs, and worth not getting ripped off or having a questionable time just for the sake of saving 20bucks. If you can't afford fs at say 120, then do a non-fs encounter at 80-100, you won't be sorry you did. You will almost always be sorry if you nickel and dime your way into fs for 100 or non-fs at less than 80. Choose to have a good-great time once a month, than 2 mediocre times in your car twice a month lol. NOTE: There are LOTS OF SCAMS in the Erotic Service section. Don't let the above sentance missguide you, take the advice of seasoned pooners as we have been there, done that.
Craig's list is full of scams in almost every section. Beware until you are able to tell the scams from reality and even then beware.

He's talking about Vancouver, btw. Don't be like the Winnipeg guys who make assumptions about Vancouver's CL based on your own.
I am NOT TALKING ABOUT VANCOUVER. Don't assume that you know of the location I am speaking about unless I specifically mention the city. The warning regarding the ripoff ads for CL should be considered for Vancouver and Winnipeg and every city in between those locations. The ripoffs on CL are world wide actually.
I have seen rip off ads in every major city and smaller cities as well. Never assume because you are in a particular part of the country or maybe you live in a smaller city that the warnings should not apply to you. Every city listed in CL should be considered as a potential location for people to rip you off.

What you quoted was me telling you the OP was talking about Vancouver.
And since he was, others were trying to stay on topic by talking about Vancouver. If you were not, it would have been best to say that in your opinion and in your city, CL is not the best location to find sps. In Edmonton, the best locations are mps. That is not necessarily the case in Vancouver, where almost every perb advertiser from Vancouver uses at some point, or even daily. It is also filled with ads from micros, which altho may not use real pics are not otherwise scammers. I would interpret "a lot of scammers" to mean that more than 25-30% of all posted ads were CC scams or similar, whereas on CL in Vancouver I think that less than 1% of the posted ads would fall into that category. Scammers provide no service, which is different from the amateur hour posters who may provide lackluster service lol.
heh LoL, yes i have been here since 2006, than there was this weird thing about perb that would not let me in, so i stopped coming in here till like about 2 weeks ago, and than i intook all the knowledge from some of the divine reviews you perberts have written, =), and its great i love reading about all of them, unfortunatley the ones i use to read alot, the ones that have quit the agencies, and completely just gone out of the business, as i was too late on what i wanted to see... my fault really i held it off.. well thank you for all the comments, muchly appreciated, ^_^, okay have a good nite,
