Has AI made any significant changes to your work life like work load decreasing, hours decreasing, elimination of positions, or the realization, your position may not be there in 1 to 5 years?

No change in my work. I only use power tools normally, so AI is not a factor.

AI can only follow algorithms, right now are not capable of thoughts or inspiration, but are incredibly quick and can process mass data. People can think outside the box, but are limited by the knowledge they possess and the data they can process.
AI is a tool for now.

Here is the thing to think about:
1. Roman Empire the slaves ran the economy and did all the work... mechanical contraptions like a water wheel (for milling flour), were discouraged, as to give the slave something to do. If a slave could do the work, you did not find other things to do the work for the slave.
2. The industrial Revolution in England created jobs in the cities and freed up mass labour for other industrial purposes. Mechanical looms produce cloth (textile factory) at a far greater rate than humans could. People flocked from the rural areas to the bigger cities.
3 Humans are going to be replaced by robots (good at repetitive work, unlike humans) on factory/assembly lines. You will still need people to reprogram machines and trouble-shoot problems on assembly lines. You still need people to design assembly lines. One thing about 3D manufacturing is you need people to set up the 3d printer, and add more filament if the machine runs out.
4. With todays technology, people are more inclined to go back to the rural area and live off grid. Build their own house, power it with solar, heat house by wood/solar. But the biggest thing is that these people are growing their own food. whatever work they are doing is done on computer. Today there are other income sources from Utube, online stock market, online marketing etc. You can't keep kids off computers from playing games these day, so weapons of war are similar to what these kids are used to (xbox controllers for drones and submarines etc). The simple idea of plug and play and let the computer handle the download and make the program work. Some people blog...etc.
5 While big companies are downsizing people for the bottom line of making mass profit. Those people need to do something, otherwise they will become a problem for society and not in a good way, same as the Roman slaves.
6 It takes great inertia to change a production line or the way certain companies want their business to be run. There fore new ideas are not welcomed, as it crashed the status-quo... People of intellect and drive and creativity will leave stagnate jobs to do other things.

I’ve used it for a couple things , cut my time down at work by 30% when I did use it .
Just a quick check to make sure everything was correct but still easier and faster than doing it yourself from scratch .
No complaints.

Fortunately, my life as an exclusive gigolo is difficult to replicate with 1’s and 0’s.

I don’t want an AI wank job, and I find horny women crave non-linear mystery over classical intelligence aggregation, which is not convincingly elucidated by Chad Gupta or his brethren.

Stay human my friends.

I manage websites, and I often use AI to help write blog posts.
But this post was 100% written by me. LOL
