Has anybody been to see Harlow at island's finest ? bit of an awkward situation but i know her fairly well personally and not sure if i should go to her as i'm not sure how she would react! any suggestions on something like that would be greatly appreciated.

So I have never bumped into that situation but I would avoid that possibility at all costs. With all the choice out there, why focus on her? It might be not too bad but it could be a disaster.

I've never knowingly gone to see someone whom I knew, but I once saw a girl at an agency that coincidentally her second job was as the assistant from someone I did business with. From a few comments about how my day at work had gone, she quickly figured it out, and by next session she knew my life story. She didn't look me up out of malice though, it was a coincidence, and she got curious. Thankfully, she also let me know that she knew all about me . It was fine, and at first a little nice as we used actual names, and made the GFE feel more real. We had more substantive conversations. But then the lines were blurred more than we both felt comfortable with, so we stopped. Nothing bad happened, but it could have. I think it can be dangerous for both parties, so it's a situation best avoided.

I would also avoid it as it could be extremely uncomfortable for Harlow. One way to gain insight on that would be to call the agency and mention to the reception lady that you are interested in Harlow but know her. She could ask Harlow if she is ok with it. You would not have to say who you are just that you are an acquaintance.
