Getting Hung Up By SPs

How come in the 21st century this is still happening? I perhaps need to consult a psychic or mindfulness guru or someone as bad luck has me hung up twice this week alone by two different "well-reviewed" providers.

Girls, thanks for all the feedback. I apologize for not being clear with what I meant by "getting hung up by" SPs.

I "got hung up" by SP1 who told me to text her at 6pm to confirm our appointment for 7pm (which I did), did not reply to texts or calls throughout the hour from 6pm to 7pm (during which I called twice to double check on availability, both times getting vmail, while driving to the location as instructed), and only texted me back at precisely 7:05pm to say she could not access the incall location because some girlfriend was not answering her phone.

I "got hung up" by SP2 who emailed me at 11:57pm that she could see me at 12pm the next day (which I replied confirming that I could do the time suggested), and did not respond to emails/texts until 12:03pm (3 minutes pass the time we were supposed to meet).

Perhaps this is standard SP customer service practice? I hope not but it sure happened to me. Nothing more than bad luck I hope.

Sadly for some girls it is standard, you'll probably get stood up 10% to 20% of the time. Once can happen to any one, if a girl stands you up 2 or 3 times in a row please post so the rest of us know who is a time waster. Hope you have better luck next time.

I've been hung up on, usually the sp is drunker or higher than a monkey. Oh well, just call the next one on the list , problem solved.

Please tell us who the "two different "well-reviewed" providers" are. Most likely causes are double booking, previous client gone into overtime, not in the mood, got better things to do and the go to excuse "family emergency".

Like Gary said, I don't think naming them will make a dent in their careers if they are well reviewed but then we are not the ones who got their time wasted on.

Agreed, the entire point of this place is to share info on who is good and who is not. There are too many guys here who will not speak up when thay get poor service.

Do you realize how often this happens to us? I get email requests for specific times, reply with an ok, only to hear nothing back (or hear back after the appointment requested has passed) ALL the time. ALL the time. I write it off as men sending multiple requests at the same time and going with the first reply they get back. That's why I always write my email so that an additional response is required from them before I give them info on when to call.

It's possible she had the same happen to her; she had more than one requests and took the first one to respond. If you don't hear back from her with details on how to proceed, something may have come up or she booked with someone else. Would it have been better if she replied before she did, yes. But it's not always practical when you're the only one emailing back and forth or answering phone/text msgs for bookings which often are very short notice, get ready, get incall ready, answer calls to confirm later appointments, take the actual appointment, eat, start a load of laundry, walk the dog, oops out if lube, gotta go buy some more, stuck on hold with Telus, sleep and have a life.

Sometimes, even if I have the best of intentions, I'm simply not able to do it all at the last minute. And other things are simply more urgent and end up taking precedence over others. It's not ideal but it's life.


Not all of us have smart phones and people experience computer problems that prevent them from accessing their emails. I really don't think this example is any more that a mild pain in the butt. She didn't stand you up as she hadn't confirmed with you. Although it would have been better if she's been able to do it early, she did still get back to you and you could have/can still find a time that will work for both of you, if you still want to. What you're pissed about can happen to me many times a week at times....so....:nod:
