The first reports of a massive heart attack were probably true and she.had been in a coma since the heart attack.
I think she was gone then and they kept her a life for 5 days untill they finally decided to pull the plug.
Very sad to die at 60 .Just don't have heart attacks on plane flights ,there is not to much they can do for you till they Land .

At least you're closer to Heaven then to Hell.....and for some it might be as close as they get....

FWIW there was a paramedic and doctor or nurse on board. They kept a professional level of CPR going until they landed.
People die every day. I don't think the number of a year has much to do with it.
All the celebrity deaths don't really affect me. I didn't know any of them.

I imagine most people would be more upset about friends or family (family they liked, anyway) dying. That doesn't make it unusual to spare a sense of sadness for the passing of an entertainer that brought them joy or they connected with on an emotional level.
I'm with you on the "number" of the year having little to do with it. I have no delusion this will pass after Dec 31. Rather what I think is going on is that a particular generation's icons are reaching a mortal age and so the deaths are resonating with a particular demographic (i.e. many of us) this year. It's not going to slow down though. It really depends on the age of the person commenting. It's a new phenomenon when age starts to take your own generation instead of your parent's.
Anyway there's that plus a few other things that many hold dear are getting ripped apart. Anyone who was more in Obama's camp than Trump's is going to be sensitive to the notion that their world as they know it is more impermanent than they recognized. So that just adds another layer to the despair that they started to notice in 2016.
But the constant moaning about celebrities does get tedious.
My best friend's mom had a stroke a few days ago. She is closer to me than my real mother. It is horrible and breaks my heart.
I was talking about it with my boss, he gave me time off to see her.
So the company gossip sticks her fucking nose in and starts telling us that such and such a celebrity had a stroke too...I lost my temper and told her to fuck off, mind her own business, and that I don't give a shit about her celebrity.
What the fuck is wrong with people?
Someone I have known for thirty years is important! Don't equate her with someone you have seen on TV.
Pay attention to the real people in your life, never mind celebrities.
