Driving there. How do you avoid paying bridge toll? Which s the best route to take
From Downtown to New Westminster onto the Pattullo Bridge then onto the Fraser Highway or through Queensborugh onto Annacis Island then onto the Alex Fraser Bridge are still free OR go through Richmond onto highway 91 then onto the Alex Fraser Bridge or highway 99 using the George Massey Tunnel going towards the Surrey-Newton area then onto highway 10 as BCNeil suggested; all of the routes go into Surrey and lead towards Langley/Abbotsford. Google has its uses.My parents live in Aldergrove. Take the Alex Fraser bridge, then I usually just take highway 10.
This is the way I go to get anywhere in the valley. It is a bit of an undiscovered secret so far so don't tell anyone! :doh:cross pattullo bridge, turn left at first light [by gas station] it becomes hiway 15? and ends up at 176 st. New hiway no lights or anything works great

Wow, that's crazy! It does seem like a rather strange route, who knew? This is the way I go to get anywhere in the valley. It is a bit of an undiscovered secret so far so don't tell anyone!![]()
Yep. Bridge, left on 128th, right at the lights....keep going. Soon as you pass the construction area, smooth sailing....but don't tell anyone.cross pattullo bridge, turn left at first light [by gas station] it becomes hiway 15? and ends up at 176 st. New hiway no lights or anything works great
it's the first part of the south fraser perimeter road. it's fast because once you get on at bridgeview, their are no intersections, or even on/off ramps all the way to 176th. speed limit is 80, but you can easily do 110 the whole way. no place for the cops to hide.cross pattullo bridge, turn left at first light [by gas station] it becomes hiway 15? and ends up at 176 st. Parking seems to be an issue for everyone no matter where I have my location. It’s not a matter of being able to afford it.
In August I saw a lady and the donation was $400, no regrets.
I spent over 10 minutes driving around looking for free parking because I’d feel ripped off if I had to feed the meter a couple bucks!
