I'm surprised to see that from the number of people that I have viewed the posting that so few have voted. Also, I'm wondering why most people choose "other" .....where are you going then to catch the rays?
Sook potholes is pretty nice, bit of a drive and gets a little crowded sometimes. I like rivers more then lakes or the ocean myself, lots of good spots up island.

Nude sunbathing - there are some wonderful places in the area that nude sunbathing is widely accepted. Prior Lake (in Thetis Park) and Little Tribune Bay on Hornby Island are two of the well known and are two sites the authorities tend to leave alone. the most famous is Wreck Beach in Vancouver, but this is a Victoria thread.
There are other places less well known and where you may attract unwanted attention from the authorities.
If you want completely safe and private there is always the nudist spot near Cobble Hill.

How could I forget the Sooke Pot Holes and Lake Cowichan/Cowichan River! Definitely two of the best places to be on a sunny summer's day
