Ladies, which men's cologne is most likely to get you in the mood? Which ones will trigger nausea?

Guys, do you have a favorite brand?

Kistna from the Body Shop, which is described on their website as:

Imagine a soft breeze wafting through the tall grasses and herbs on the shore of the Kistna river in India. Top notes of bergamot, orange and lemon nestle on middle notes of thyme, basil, cinnamon and clove, resting on base notes of patchouli, cedar, tree moss and vanilla.

I don't know about all of that it just smelt good to me...:)

hey yoh Blondie, just like women,a mans fragrance reacts with body chemistry, dosn't matter if it's a hundred $ bottle or a 30 $ one, they are all going to smell differant with each individual,,,,but I do agree, some men/women don't know how much is too much.

Theres a huge difference between a cheap bottle and expensive bottle of perfume/cologne.

But everyone is right about the body chemistry issue. This is most important. What smells nice in the bottle or on a scent card may be awful when mixed with ones body chemistry. Thats why its important to test wear anything before buying it.

Back to cheap vs. expensive. It seems that tigers are attracted to Calvin Klein Obession. THere was a study at a zoo or university trying to determine what caused the attraction. They compared other "expensive" colognes but Obsession was the only one that had the animalistic effect on them. They then tried the cheap obsession knockoffs and no effect. Even though people sometimes couldnt tell the difference through sniff tests the tigers could quickly distinguish the difference.

So lends some credence to the effect cologne can have.

I agree with the comments about either not wearing the right cologne or wearing too much.

I once had a roommate in university who not only had bad BO, he used to marinate himself in Old Spice. Now that shit is already nasty-smelling - to combine that with his BO did not win him new friends. And I had to share the same room with this mouth-breather for a whole fucking year.

BTW, I've noticed that those who wear Old Spice and other cheap colognes always wear too much of it. I suspect they lack any sense of smell.

Some women are guilty of this lack of scent sense too...and they're supposed to have a stronger sense of smell. This one girl who works at my office wears one of those old-lady perfumes that smells like Pine Sol on her.

I'm not knowledgable about women's perfumes...all I know is that certain ones give me a massive erection.

I never get kissed on the first date...

I like lots and lots of Aqua Velva. It keeps the mosquitos away.

Seriously folks...

Swiss Army. I have had more than one nice comment when I mist it on my chisled features before entertaining a fine Lady for the evening.

Sometimes I smell like beer. That's another story.

Later,
bobsled.

Obsession for Men by CK is a bit too strong...

My ATF are: Coolwater by Davidoff, Issey Miyake, Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani, and just Armani, Swiss Army altitude is ok too... ;)
