Evie! Not a good experience

Booked a session on June 30th with Evie king for July 2nd and paid a $50 mandatory deposit for new clients since she is quite reputable and there are great reviews for her.

I received a message the day before the appointment asking to reschedule due to building repairs. I replied bit late but did not receive any further response. I followed up again closer to the appointment time and still did not hear back, so I assumed the appointment was no longer going ahead.

Shortly before the appointment time, I messaged again requesting a refund of the deposit due to the lack of confirmation. I then received a response stating deposits are non-refundable and that asking for a refund was “unattractive,” though rescheduling was offered.

My concern was mainly around inconsistent communication and lack of clarity leading up to the appointment. While I understand deposit policies generally apply when clients cancel, I feel there should be more flexibility and clarity when the provider is the one rescheduling and the client is unable to rebook within a reasonable time frame.

Hmm... I checked her ad on Tryst. Nowhere does it state plainly or implicitly that in the event that she reschedules on your (in this case on short notice) that she gets to keep the deposit. It's neither in her ad or a reasonable thing to do.

Based on what you shared you handled the situation reasonably.

Unfortunately, I'll have to let this go. She has made it clear that the deposit is non-refundable. The only option offered was to rebook, which unfortunately won't work since her availability is limited, and I won't be around for some time either.

True! I’ve never had issues sending deposits to reputable SPs before, but this experience has made me more mindful moving forward.
It's shame that she made a fuss out of $50 when she was the one who cancelled.

Don't let this deter you from sending deposits to reputable companions. Most girls clearly specify in their ad or website that if they cancel, they refund the deposit.

come on, you only know half the story! and then don't forget there is what really happened! take it all with a grain of salt. lol.
You're right, there’s always another perspective, but my review is based on my direct experience and the communication I received, and it was shared in good faith. Just to add, I do support deposits as a way to prevent time wasting for both the client and the provider. My concern was simply how the deposit was handled when the cancellation came from the provider's side.
