I know that he was reading a chinese newspaper, does that help? Somehow I doubt it.
So besides being a major PITA our good doctor reads Chinese as well. A lot of non-Chinese people read Chinese newspaper (well for the pooning ads anyways), does that make them Chinese? Didn't think so, which by the way seem to be your logic now. Just to make things clear, I was not offended by your comment if the guy was indeed Chinese. What I was offended by is your automatic assumption that the guy is Chinese? Can you understand that doctor or should I write them in Chinese for ya?

jj, you've just proved how immature and thoughtless you are, which is a shame because I was trying to be respectful and bring up points for serious thought and discussion.

But instead you've decided to turn it into a big joke, and in so doing just made a mockery of yourself, which is kind of sad.

You want to have a 'serious discussion' about whether or not a creepy looking guy (who happend to be chinese) wacking off on a nude beach was actually chinese or not???

Can't we find a topic more worthy of discussion?

Sounds like fun. So exactly what kind of doctor are you? And why do you have so much time on your hands? Why do you have to have a racial tone in the majority of your posts?

Hmm...

What has four legs, hooves, a mane and a long tail made of hair and neighs?

If I say 'a horse' are you going to say that I'm being a speciesist because it might have been a zebra?

I guess I should have been more PC and said that he was 'allegedly' chinese?

And hey, I never actually saw him cum (not that I was waiting for it) so maybe he wasn't wacking off, maybe he just looked like he was but he actually has OCD and has to compulsively put sun tan lotion on his dick for 20 minutes. Aren't you so offended by that assumption too?

For that matter, should I be offended by you assuming that I'm white? Now who's the racist?

Do you SERIOUSLY think there was a racial tone in my original post about this?

Really, seriously?

If so.. Get help. Right now. Please.

What I'm wondering is why some people try soooo hard to put a racial tone into anything anyone says.

For that matter, did you actually COUNT my posts and put them into two piles, 'racial tone present' or 'no racial tone present' or did you just ASSUME that there was??

Now I'm the one who is offended by YOUR ignorant assumption.

Why is it that the majority of YOUR posts are accusing people of being racists?

So you were looking at the creepy Chinese guy for 20 minutes, I wonder who the real creep is?

And please show me exactly where I assumed you were white. I assumed your are not Chinese, you take that to mean I assumed you are white. Now it all makes sense.

Ah you are correct! I did not watch him continuously for the whole 20 minutes so it is possible that he was only intermittantly wacking off. How politically incorrect of me to not have said that the creepy "allegedly" chinese guy was "allegedly" wacking off during the short intervals which I observed him over a 20 minute period and 'allegedly' he did not stop when I wasn't watching.

I allegedly think allegedly that allegedly you allegedly are allegedly taking allegedly the allegedly whole allegedly concept allegedly of allegedly being allegedly PC allegedly or allegedly being allegedly called allegedly a allegedly racist allegedly a allegedly little allegedly bit allegedly too allegedly far.

How's allegedly that?

What assumption would that be? That you are a closet racist but don't have the balls to admit it. Well you should be offended, cause you are doing a piss poor job of dispelling that notion.

wow

What a thread...
Seriously.... Although JJ's original post mentioning the fact that he was a creepy Chinese guy, didn't really need the "Chinese" descriptor, it is way out of line to call it racist. I hear people of all races using descriptors like that about others all the time.( i know that doesn't make it right) At most, I would say that it was racially insensitive or perhaps not up to politically correct standards.
I'm sure that by backing him up, I am now a racist as well, but I believe JJ has suffered enough insults and has simply been trying to defend himself.
Can we all agree that it would be creepy to see a guy wacking off on the beach? (allegedly).. and that it would be awesome to have Tianna rubbing her ass on you on a train????

No shit. This is beyond f'ing ridiculous!

Instead of wasting time arguing about whether or not this is or is not racist - why not spend that time doing something positive and useful about it, if you feel this strongly about the issue?

What the hell is this accomplishing anyway? A Big Fat Nothing.

I'd be the first to admit that the concept of political correctness makes me wanna puke.

Oh and by the way, no, I don't read chinese, but my CHINESE ex girlfriend did.

What a racist I am.

And, because I just KNOW that someone's gonna ask.

YES I saw her birth certificate (couldn't read it though). I also saw her UK passport and her place of birth was clearly indicated on it.

Actually, it's quite clear that I was bringing up the question of whether it was appropriate to mention the person's race in this specific situation. But again, you've decided to pretend that the conversation is about something else. Why? I'm not sure. Perhaps because you think it makes you look clever. In fact, it just makes you look like you're avoiding the points I made. Which you are.

So, you continue to evade the topic by making immature remarks that have nothing to do with the topic. Good job. I'm sure people have a lot of respect for you now.

Actually the topic was erections in public. A guy wanking on the beach sorta fits in that topic (even though he had a tiny dick, it was erect)

If you want to jump on the politically correct bandwagon and start shouting 'racist' at anyone who uses the word Chinese in a sentence, be my guest; just don't expect me to be eager to discuss the folly of political correctness with one of its zealots.

I wonder if Pope Al will sell me some 'used the word Chinese' indulgences to go with my carbon indulgences?

You're wrong in that it accomplishes nothing. Asking questions and pointing out prejudices publicly eventually makes it socially unacceptable to be prejudiced. How do you think the women's movement and gay movement came to be where they are now? It's because people started standing up and saying something when someone was being prejudiced. Silence is taken for agreement. If nobody ever questions prejudiced behaviours, attitudes, and language, then these attitudes will continue to exist.

Surely you can see this. Especially considering that you are a woman and a prostitute. When people make derogatory remarks about women or prostitutes, don't you feel compelled to say something? Granted, it wasn't derogatory in this particular case to say "Chinese", because "Chinese" isn't a bad word, or an offensive word in any way. However, when used in this context, the poster was implying that being "creepy" was somehow related to being "Chinese", which is completely inappropriate and prejudiced.

As such, the words "woman" and "prostitute" aren't derogatory, but when brought into situations where they have no relevance and are used to imply something negative about women in general or prostitutes in general, then it is completely insensitive and unacceptable, and we shouldn't allow it to continue.

I agree with you that there's no need to bicker, and that certainly wasn't my intent with my post. I meant to simply start a conversation. However, people's true feelings and attitudes are presenting themselves now, and it's very interesting to see how they unfold.

The topic that I raised with you was why you would refer to the man as a creepy chinese guy, when his race doesn't have anything to do with his being creepy. That is the topic, and you know that. And yet, you still try to pretend that it's something else. Yes, the original post was about erections in public. However, the topic that I raised with you was about your description of the man you saw, and why it was necessary to mention his race, and whether or not you would have done so if he was any other race.

Also, I have never called you racist. I was simply asking a question. Seeing you get so defensive about it has been very interesting and surprising, since I never accused you of anything.

As for the political correctness bandwagon, as you call it, I believe it's good to be sensitive and respectful within reason. For example, calling someone "African American" when they are Canadian doesn't make any sense, and it is political correctness taken too far. However, there's no reason to mock people who try rid themselves of prejudice and prejudiced ways of speaking.
