Envious of the MPs

I'm really envious of the girls that have worked at MPs for a decent amount of time. How do you put up with all the shit, favoritism, lies and all else that goes on?!?!?!?!

I, for one, can't stand it, the last place I worked at had awesome girls and little to no drama. Unfortunately I think the MP isn't right for me. I do speak my mind, I won't "dumb it up" and I won't take shit and I will contest a person if they don't follow up on what they say.

Made some enemies, and made even more great friendships (girls and clients) along the way, I think it's best for me, my sanity, and my belief of fairness and equality to not grace/darken any MPs anymore (unless its to visit my friends there :D)

Of course, I'll still be stalking these forums til I'm out of the biz for good! (gotta keep tabs on those micros ;) )

What would be your plans then Moi?

You have been one of the more thoughtful people to post here. I wish you all the best. I know you love the micros ;P

Keep on hacking it, until the end of the world!

Good Luck Moi

I think you have to keep it low key, keep to yourself, on a personal and business basis, and concentrate on your clients for the most part.

It is my experience that anyone working anywhere that is outspoken and generally good at what they do, usually runs into the rest of their co-workers and friends as a bit of a black sheep.

I call it envy and jealousy. In a hidden way, successful people seem to get seperated from the norm eventually. No matter what they do, both at work or in their personal lives.

Just keep looking for the positive people you enjoy and stay clear of the sharks.

Good Luck

Good Luck

Unfortunately like in many work places the interaction between co-workers makes or breaks the place as far as a place where going to work is enjoyable. A few MPs have been able to keep their staff year over year. IMHO the higher the profile of the MP the more drama around it.

Good luck in your future endeavors, pop by and share your opinion by all means!

Couldn't have said it better babe! You pretty much just said word for word EXACTLY how I feel about this subject. Makes total sense and so true. ;)

well i usually have little to no drama around me because I usually bring my homework or laptop to work but I just usually have a problem with hypocrisy among authorities etc.

Not to mention if i see something wrong or unfair i will definately speak out so yeah.....

It's not the fault of the girls working there, it is the fault of the owners/managers of the studios. It is up to them to keep the girls in check, but we all know how stand up these owners all are...lol.

Time for a change in the hierarchy of escort services and massage parlors, that's all. Too many pimpy owners with no clue as to the importance of the girls working for them....there are plenty of great girls in this industry, but no good owners. None. Nada. Zilch.

Yet.

I'm pretty sure that a key to a successful studio is a working owner not an absentee owner.

it sucks sometimes!

I'm there too! I love the studio I work at, get along with 4 out of 10 people, but the others just make working here a living hell for the rest of us! Always accusing us of this or that! I even work for a male manager whom IMHO, does a great job. Best thing is to bring a good book and not engage in gossip with the other girls or get mixed up in all the crap. Best of luck! And just remember what you do is your business not theirs, there will always be catty bitches in the business, but all you have to worry about is how you treat your clients, and whether or not they're coming bck to see you or reccomending your services to others. ;)

In any job, it always boils down to the management and owners. It is through their policies, words, actions and management style that set the tone for the type of workplace you're at. When you are at a job interview, no matter what your career is, it shouldn't be just the boss asking you questions to gauge your hireability; you need to respectfully grill the boss about the workplace policies too.
