The saturday edition of the Sun carried an article on some useful books, one of them was called Emotional Vampires: Dealing with People Who Drain you Dry! Now it never struck me that this book had anything to do with the trade, until it was downloaded and read about 30% of it at Starbucks this morning.
The book was wanted for work purposes which it proports to be about. But in going through the book, it became very clear that this subject matter matched so much descriptions of situations and people that are being described in some of the recent threads about dating an SP, manipulation, etc in recent weeks. It is a book well worth reading and is available for your e reader if you have one for about $10.
No doubt that some SP client relationships out there fit into the descriptions in this book, it might help those in situations to define and recognize them better.
