Last Saturday, I call up Edmonton GFE to arrange an appointment for some soup. I've ordered soup with this agency many times before and the ordering process has been fairly straight forward, you know ... make an appointment, call when arriving at the incall, get buzzed up, get soup, eat soup!!! .... you know. When I made this particular appointment for soup, I don't recall that there had been any changes in the soup ordering process.
So I arrive at the incall location and after parking I call the soup dispatcher. She starts yelling at me in a most rude and condescending tone like I'm some 10 year old. The soup dispatcher tells me I was supposed to confirm my soup order 30 minutes before arriving, and then hangs up on me. I call her back and ask if soup is still available and she tells me (still yelling) that she will see and will call me back. After this insulting barrage I was seriously contemplating just leaving, however, my hunger for soup had me stay. I'm glad to report that in the end, I was able to get my soup and it was knee-buckling good.
I guess I want to reflect now on how I was treated by Edmonton GFE management. Well, I'M FUCKIN' 47 YEARS OLD AND NO ONE TALKS TO ME LIKE THAT, not to mention that I'm a FUCKIN' CUSTOMER. It seems that every time I call Edmonton GFE, something about the dispatcher rubs me the wrong way making me feel like I'm a kid. I guess I should add that several of the girls working at Edmonton GFE have mentioned to me that "the management" is at time disrespectful to them as well. I don't know who answers the phones at this agency but it's safe to say that their customer service and people management skills are FUCKIN' SHIT. As for the soup ordering process, how many FUCKIN' phone calls does it take?
I guess I'm lucky that there are many outstanding soup places in Edmonton these days. As for Edmonton GFE, I got just one word for you.....NEXT!!!
