Dog silencers?

When all else except a bullet fails,
how to stop a neighbours dog from barking?
I know , you will say , talk to them , or call the cops.....
forget that right now ,
Does anyone have experience with the dog silencer pro or any other electronic devices, a collared one is out of question , so it has to be transmitted.
I have heard they work and also that the dog gets used to it and then ignores it.
plus they are not cheap , around 90 dollars.

I've used one before, basically the smarter the dog the better it works.

It is completely useless on those insane dogs that bark 24 hours a day for no reason whatsoever and never even sleep.

They are highly directional, so they work best if the dog is confined to a relatively small area so that you can reliably point the device at the dog.

I feel the same way about the kids next door. Fortunately for you, most municipalities have by-laws against noisy dogs..

Fyi, electric shock treatment is inhumane and will only stress the animal out more.

the barking dog is not in canada , nor is ther much law there ,certainly no spca , but i will try the human option first , then resort to other options...

Wow, that's some loud barking.

but the mutt barks in a foriegn language , realllly annoying.
There is another one onmarket now , its a cd which u play and point the speakers towards the dog and it is silent o our ears , but drives the mutt crazy....
if it works , i,m all in.....
i do like the light bulb as a back up though.
