If 18-22 year old sp's had a choice between a 21 year old client and a 27 year old client, I'm guessing all of them would choose the former, huh? Even assuming both guys are in equally good shape.

This is something that's depressing me. I feel like not only have I missed the boat with civilians, but also with sp's.

They prefer older guys. We take our time, are more gentle and gentlemanly. Generally we treat them better and with more respect. Younger guys are more brash, less polite, more likely to see how many times they can 'go' in an hour. They treat the ladies like a ride at Disney. We treat them like an experience to be treasured.

Jesus.. what is wrong with you? You're fucking 27 years old and you think you're washed up and over the hill? This is the 3rd time you've posted something along these lines.

Women like a guy who have their shit together. If they'er SP's they want a man who is polite, respectful, and generous.

Even women who are not SPs like men with some experience and confidence. I've dated plenty of younger women and most of my girlfriends are about 10 years younger than me. When I was 39 I dated two 26 year olds.

You need to get your head out of your ass and realize that the problems you are having are not due to your advanced age of 27. It's due to having your head up your ass.

Sure looks count.. but you need to optimize your personality and behaviour - not discount them because you think you're too old. Especially if you're thinking about SPs. Try not being a goof and not trying to get a bargain out of them or act like you want to re-enact every porno you've seen. I'm pretty sure that's what pisses SPs off about younger guys.

Sorry to be harsh but you need your ass kicked. You're talking shit. I'm in my late 40's and getting laid more than I ever did in my 20's.

How would you know this? Do you have a lot of experience having sex with young guys? LOL. Just kidding.

Older guys definitely have great qualities, but I don't know why young guys seem to have such a bad rap in the escort world. Personally I think young guys are great. A couple reasons why:

-Young guys (under 30) were raised in a post-AIDS world, so they have a better understanding of safe sex practices (in my experience anyway). People from my generation have had very comprehensive sex education, and take safety seriously. I find that older guys frequently do things like touch themselves and then touch me with the same hand.

-They're less likely to have been married, or to have been in a LTR, so they are accustomed to using condoms (no condom-ED issues). I find that older guys who are used to bb sex often have a harder time performing fs with condoms. I have been asked for bbfs MANY times by older guys; never been asked by a younger guy.

-They're more liberal (so more in common with me). I have a hard time with some guys from older generations making racist, misogynistic, or overly conservative/republican comments during conversation. It's very difficult for me to find out that someone is an huge homophobe, and then have to be romantic with him.

-Also, speaking of misogyny, young guys are less likely to be divorced, so I find that generally they seem to have a more positive view of women. I have lost count of the number of older guys I've met who have been through a messy divorce, and have an attitude of "all women are greedy bitches!!!" (an attitude that they are more than willing to share with me, for whatever reason)

-Young guys are WAY more likely (in my experience) to be manscaped :)

-Young guys smell good. (Personally, I cannot stomach 2-nonenal aka "old man smell")

That's all I can think of for now! (I should add, in case anyone is wondering, that I am totally comfortable seeing guys up to age 55)

people need to stop with the generalizations from both sides. this older guy vs. younger guy thing is beyond stupid. younger guys have grown up during the feminist revolution and are more used to the yes-ma'am way of life lol.

id say most people, male or female tend to prefer happy, stable, funny personalities vs. those that are cold, jaded, and bitchy. agreed?

Agreed.

If anyone has ever been to a Cactus Club or a Joey's or a bar, you'll meet your fair share of young guys (under 30) who are just as filthy (check bathroom hygiene) and disrespectful as in any other age group out there. A dirty stinky asshole douche exists in any age group.

FYI

57-year-old man who was attacked outside the Country Rose pub in Colwood last week after intervening in a domestic dispute between a 31-year old man and his girlfriend. OK the guy may not have been under 30 but close enough. In any case, to say that young guys have a more positive view of women is questionable. A 57-year old has died here. An ultimate sacrifice for someone he didn't even know.

Man who intervened in pub argument has died after being taken off life support

Friends and family are mourning the death of a 57-year-old man who was attacked outside the Country Rose pub in Colwood last week after intervening in a domestic dispute.

Rick Green of Colwood died Sunday night at Victoria General Hospital, where he had been in a medically induced coma since the Oct. 8 incident.

Gregory Brotherston, 31, appeared in Western Communities provincial court Monday charged with aggravated assault. Although a bail hearing was scheduled to take place, defence lawyer Richard Neary asked that Brotherston’s next appearance be adjourned until Oct. 29.

Brotherston will remain in custody at the Vancouver Island Regional Correctional Centre.

Judge Josiah Wood imposed an order on Brotherston, prohibiting him from contacting former girlfriend Kelly Sousa or William Corlett. Their roles in the case were not explained, but the Crown often asks for no-contact orders when someone has been a witness to an offence.

“This means no contact whatsoever, no text messages, cellphones — do you understand?” asked Wood.

Brotherston replied: “Yes, I do.”

Outside court, Neary made a brief statement to reporters explaining the adjournment, saying Brotherston and his family wanted to allow Green’s family to “mourn their loss without any distraction from these court proceedings.”

“In light of Mr. Green’s tragic passing just last night, it’s obviously not the appropriate time to be talking about, or even thinking about, what’s going to be happening with my client,” Neary said.

“Speaking now with my client, his parents, his siblings, they all genuinely feel sorrow about what has happened and they’ve asked me to extend their deepest condolences to Mr. Green’s family and friends.”

Neary said it’s too early to say what will happen Oct. 29.

Crown prosecutors are reviewing the evidence to assess whether the charge of aggravated assault will change.

Green was a well-loved fixture for more than 20 years at the Country Rose pub. He was born and raised in Toronto, served 25 years in the Air Force and moved to Victoria in 1991.

Green worked for B.C. Vital Statistics for the past 12 years. He is survived by his 22-year-old son Kevin, mother Ruth and sisters Tracey and Shelley.

Staff at the pub describe Green as a gentleman who loved to tell jokes. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan and always wore his team baseball hat and jacket.

Last week, bartender Debra Evans said Green didn’t have a mean bone in his body.

“He’s always there to help you do anything, which is why he probably got into a situation he maybe shouldn’t have. But he would do it again, I’m sure, because he thought the woman was in trouble,” Evans said. “This was not the first time he’s helped people out.”

Here's another great story of a respectful 19 year old in Esquimalt back in 2001.

Man endures 'life sentence' of paralysis

February 18, 2009

Sometimes Grace Chow feels it would have been better if her son, Nicholas Chow Johnson, had died after he was viciously attacked by strangers on an Esquimalt, British Columbia street instead of leaving him in a permanent vegetative state.

"The pain and grief is ongoing," said the Bloor Street and Ossington Avenue resident. "It's a life sentence of pain and anguish."

Living out west for about a year prior to his attack, Chow Johnson was simply walking down the street on his way to see his girlfriend, minding his own business, when he was accosted by a man and two youths associated with the Crips street gang just before 3 a.m. on Oct. 20, 2001.

The reason for the attack? Chow Johnson was wearing red clothing, the colour adopted by the Bloods, a rival gang.

After one of the males yelled "Take off the red!", referring to the 19-year-old's jacket, Chow Johnson was shoved by a youth before being punched in the head by Harry Hiscock, then 19.

Chow Johnson fell, hitting his head on the road. Lying helpless, another kick to his head was delivered by one of the youths.

The trio fled the scene, but was soon apprehended by police. All three were charged with aggravated assault.

The three accused had been drinking prior to the altercation. Chow Johnson had been drinking also. It's not known if Chow Johnson could have steadied himself against Hiscock's punch had he been sober.

Chow Johnson was taken to hospital and was diagnosed with a severe brain injury, likely from the initial punch by Hiscock to the left side of his head, neurosurgeons concluded.

After spending several months in hospital, Chow Johnson was transported to Toronto where he has remained at Toronto Rehab downtown.

Blind in his right eye and paralyzed on the right side of his body, Chow Johnson can't speak or care for himself in any way. He relies on others to feed, wash and move him.

Two of the youths received two- and three-year sentences, followed by three years on probation. For his role in the vicious attack, Hiscock received an eight-year sentence, which left the community reeling.

In April 2008, Hiscock was fully paroled.

"I feel very angry (about the youth sentences) but we have the Youth Criminal Justice Act," Chow said. "I would like for the three of them to come and take care of Nicholas so they can see what they have done. He has irreversible brain damage and will be like this until he dies. Sometimes I wish he hadn't made it because it's so much grief for me, it may kill me. But I have to stay positive."

Despite doctors' bleak diagnosis from the onset, Chow initially held out hope her son would get better. But after several years, she was forced to come to grips with the reality that Nicholas would never improve.

"I think he has a little bit of awareness," she said. "He likes music and he goes for music therapy. We pay for a sitter to keep him company seven days a week. She'll wheel him around and take him to the lobby so he's not just sitting in front of the TV. At least he can see people going by."

Prior to the attack, Chow Johnson was an athletic young man who loved music and dancing, his mother said.

"He was a very nice, kind person," Chow said. "He had lots of friends. He was happy, free spirited. All of that is gone now."

Angela Bianchi, a friend of Chow's, decided to make a documentary about Chow Johnson's attack and the devastating effect it's had on his family.

"I thought it would make a great documentary to show to school kids," said the Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue resident. "It tells how a mother deals with the loss of her son. He's here, but he's not really here. It's such a sad story I didn't think should go untold."

Chow, who appears in the documentary titled The Red Jacket, has not seen the video and doesn't plan to.

"I'd rather not see it, it's too sad for me," she said.

Bianchi, a journalist who has worked in television, said Chow initially hoped her son would get better, despite doctors telling her a miracle was slim to none.

"It's eight years later and he's not gotten better," Bianchi said. "Nicholas is going to live a long life and it's a lot to deal with. The crime does not go away."

Filmed two years ago, The Red Jacket features Chow, a community activist and a police officer as they re-live the horror of what happened to the young man almost a decade ago.

The 24-minute documentary, filmed in Esquimalt and Toronto, includes shots of the clothing Chow Johnson was wearing when he was attacked, his transfer to Toronto, and life as he will forever know it in a rehabilitation centre.

"Nicholas doesn't have a lot of visitors anymore," Bianchi said. "His girlfriend moved on. His friends don't visit. Just his parents and brother visit."

Bianchi said she contacted the two young offenders and Hiscock for comment in the documentary. All three declined.

The Red Jacket was screened Feb. 6 at the Victoria Film Festival to a sold-out crowd, Bianchi said, adding the Greater Victoria School District is interested in using the documentary as a teaching tool.

Most disturbing story on Vancouver island regarding under 30 males:

Two teens get life in prison for rape, murder

A judge sentenced two teenage boys Monday to life in prison for the rape and murder of a Vancouver Island teenager.

B.C. Supreme Court Judge Robert Johnston sentenced the two teens, who are now 17 and 18, to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 10 years. The pair pleaded guilty in October to the first-degree murder of Kimberly Proctor, 18.

The teens, who cannot be identified under a publication ban, were 16 and 17 years old, respectively, when the crimes were committed in March 2010.

In an agreed statement of facts, the pair lured Proctor to one of theirs homes, bound her arms and legs with duct tape, gagged her with a sock, mutilated here with a knife and sexually assaulted her.

Proctor was then choked and suffocated until she eventually died.

The court heard how the two boys had separately pursued the victim as a potential love interest. While flirtatious, Proctor ultimately rejected both.

Her body was stuffed inside a freezer until the boys took it to a wooded area of Galloping Goose Trail in Langford on Vancouver Island, and burned it beyond recognition.

Psychological assessment records diagnosed the pair as psychopaths.

The publication ban protecting the identity of the youth could be lifted, according to the Crown.

I don't think guys my age are that much more liberal. Rather, I think they've learned to mask how they really feel about certain issues. Most of my buddies are actually pretty chauvinistic (though you'd never know it if you weren't close to them).

If they don't actually have a liberal view, why do the majority of them vote NDP? Surely they're not voting for the most liberal party just to "mask" their real (conservative) feelings.

By the way, I don't mean to insult older guys, I just wanted to defend the young'uns. Older guys are adored by most providers, many of whom actually make a point of saying "mature clients only, please" or something to that effect. I see it a lot. Older guys have their pick of the (escort) litter. I just wanted to point out some of the advantages of younger guys :)

And yes, it's generalization. Generalization taken from my own (fairly substantive) experience.

They vote NDP because that party has a clear policy to take more from the 20% that pay 80% of the taxes and pass it on, and guess where these under 30 guys fit in......

Nice :)

hmmm..... males under 30 have such a liberal view that the majority of them vote NDP! So to say that one is under 30 and votes NDP has a liberal view point is a bit simplistic.

As an SP who has no age limit (except obviously 18 lol), I'd say there really isn't huge differences in behaviour between younger and older guys. I'd say there's an equal amount of younger and older assholes. However I will say that the reasons behind why those people are assholes are usually different based on age. But when they're both doing the same assholey thing, does it really matter? lol. :p

I wish I started going at like 12 haha (or as young as I could get away with).

I thought the legal age was 16 here.

In any case, to say that young guys have a more positive view of women is questionable.
Like I said, in my experience as an escort, it has only been older guys who have made misogynistic, homophobic, racist, and anti-Semitic comments, not younger guys. I think it is a generational thing. I think everybody has had a grandpa or uncle who says wildly inappropriate things because he's from an era that viewed blacks and jews and gays and women differently.

Maybe I am wrong about young guys; maybe they're just pretending to be open-minded in the hopes they'll have a better time with me. Well it works, so I can't blame them!

Aaaanyways. I could give LOTS of praise for older guys. The point of my post was to mention some good things about younger guys, who seem to get the short end of the stick in the escort world.

What's the exact age that divide younger guys from older guys? Is it 30 then?
Gosh I dunno. It's a spectrum. There is a lot of gray area. If I had to pick a line of demarcation I would say the divide between the baby boomers and gen x.

I would like to know this to I'm 27 and have seen Emmy a few times and will go back for more. Also thanks to Emmy for sticking up for the younger guys.
