Do Women Like Tattooes on Guys?

When I see a guy with a tattoo I automatically think in my head (which I admit a deep dark twisted place lol) did he get that in jail? I then start to wonder if he ever considered what it will look like when he's 65.

With women i think hmmmmm how trashy, I wonder if there was a resident tattoo artist in the trailer park.

I'm aware that both statements are very stereotypical and I know them to be often false.

GBM my sister is a succeessful specialist physician in her mid 30's, with two children, a husband and a large ugly tattoo on her lower back that she got two years ago. I guess her version of a mid life crisis.

I have no problem with that. What a person does to their body is their right, and whatever that tattoo is and their reasons for having it is all their's and does not deserve judgement. I have tattoos myself, but they are well hidden. However, what I find objectionable, personally speaking, is someone who purposely has a tattoo in an inconspicuous location such as the neck or the hand - where obviously a public statement is being made, and that statement is usually not very nice. When it is public and inconspicuous, it invites and deserves judgement. When a person wants everyone to know that a snake is on their neck, what does that say about them? Or a skull on their hand? Usually the tattoo is of an odious nature, such as a tarantula, cobra, skull, dagger, etc., so we're not talking about cute bunny rabbits or lucky charms. Did you notice that when people get tattoos on their necks and hands, it's always something of an odious nature? Why is that? I suggest it is not a good reason.

I don't see anything wrong with a positive tattoo like an eagle showing on the hand. Many American service men I've met, particularly Marines, have positive insignias tattooed in locations that are difficult to hide. It speaks of heroics in battle and other such themes. If you bothered to actually read my posts, which you are usually too lazy to read properly, you would realize I was actually talking about those who put nefarious images on public areas of their bodies, like snakes and skulls. There's a big difference in the nature of the statement made by those who put an eagle on their hand and those put a naked woman or snake on their neck. I'm sure you'll find some room in your head to agree with me there.

Lastly, if your friend's black belt is worth anything, being called a "wimp" is not going to provoke an attack. If he did, he'd be up shit creek and he should know that, particularly with a black belt.

LOL! Anyhow, I must agree that most look better than they feel. My experience with it is that a lot of women who get implants get them bigger than their body can recover from (that is, recover from forming scar tissue that hardens around the implant and makes them feel hard) - the bigger they are, the greater the chance of scar tissue that hardens. Also, few do the extensive and lengthy and consistent post-op care that prevents them from hardening. Ava, if you are completely against it, that is totally your call and no one should push you into it. I certainly hope you don't take my post as compelling you in any way. But if you ever give it idle thought, it can have a lot of benefits to a woman. Lastly, there are disbenefits, and I'll list them for the sake of presenting a balanced view: possible health problems, problems with mammograms and cancer detection, capsular contraction (hardening), disfigurement of the breast, scar tissue on the skin, loss of sensitivity to nipples (although many also report increased sensitivity), remote but possible issues with breast feeding, aging and premature sagging.

I get my Ink 3 for a dollar at the dollar store. I find people treat me slightly differently when I have a barbed wire armband, like I'm not as approachable. Scares them a bit, I guess.

But I can associate with the tattied (as long as they don't look too close) and also the STARKS* by pointing out it's fake and making fun of 'em...

If I like my 'ink', as it wears off I re-ink it with a CD marker (also 3/$1 - gotta love those hard-working Chinese...)

Lasts long enough for me to wish it was gone and Voila, scrub it, it's gone..!
