I am finding that I often can't contact SP by phone or they tend not to return my emails. Is this par for the course? I am trying to find a SP that I could call up at the last minute but typically no luck. Any suggetsions?
It also depends on the popularity of the SP. If she's quite popular, booking can be pretty difficult regardless if it's by email or phone.I am finding that I often can't contact SP by phone or they tend not to return my emails. This is the same for me, and being a little older, I often get those last-minute calls from my eldest asking me to babysit or help her on outings, especially since my new grandson was born last month. It's harder for her to wrangle a toddler and a newborn at the same time.I prefer pre-bookings by email. If I don't have an appointment pre-booked for that day, I'm like mmmm, I think I'll go shopping, beach, or other leisurely activities.![]()
I never answer the phone when I'm with a client. I've seen others complain about SP's who take calls during sessions and I think it's just plain rude. I always silence the phone when I arrive.Like others have mentioned, I am responsible for my own management and some times for obvious reasons cannot answer my phone.
I'm the same way about this. By the time I get a chance to return some calls, who knows where the caller could be, or who he might be with? He could be in a business meeting or with his wife. I don't want to make anyone's life awkward or complicated.I don't always return messages either because I figure most phone calls are for right now, and by the time I check the message, it can be hours later.
Me too. Let's face it, there are some things you can't discuss in Sobey's or Wal-Mart, like your measurements and hourly rate. I can't think of anything that would elicit shocked and disgusted looks from strangers faster. It would be pretty obvious what kind of "contract work" you're referring to!If I am out, I quite often leave my work phone at home.

Gotta catch em when they're not so stoned or in need of a fix.I am finding that I often can't contact SP by phone or they tend not to return my emails. Is this par for the course? I am trying to find a SP that I could call up at the last minute but typically no luck. Any suggetsions?
