That's neither incorrect, nor in contrast to my comment. Condoms are indeed the most frequently used contraceptive used by women In Japan. As you mentioned before the pill is actually shunned, because of perceived physical and psychological effects. However, on a units per capita basis condoms just aren't used as often as they are in North America, or at least that's what the NHK news led me to believe like 8 years ago. They could be having sex less frequently, but in my experience coitus interruptus, finishing orally, or by hand, are just more common than condom use for the married couples that I know. (Yes I know about my friends' sex lives... I've been told so much that on several occasions I have had to invoke the articles of TMI and throw my hands over my ears while running away screaming)

Perhaps. My partners were indeed female, and those non partners who admitted to testing were also female... But they are also in the group of Japanese females who date Caucasians, have been to Canada, or are friends with someone married to Caucasians. Not exactly a representative sample.

I haven't heard how common BBBJs are in Japan, but I also would assume it's the usual. BBFS, AFAIK, is illegal to do in P4P, unless it's anal. BTW i came across this thread recently on TERB:.

My P4P experience over there is pretty limited as outside of the Tokyo area, foreigners are usually only allowed P4P in an outcall situation, which is primarily to love hotels, which also tend not to admit foreigners. Though some have private entrances and can't discriminate. Plus the girls themselves really don't care, so you could probably manage something. I've never been big on pulling surprises like that on people. All my P4P encounters were outcalls to my residence set up with girls who worked in the same "clubs" as my female acquaintances, by those acquaintances. Most of my knowledge of the industry there comes second hand from those two friends.
