Digits: Yay or nay?

In my time in this industry, I've noticed a lot of people really dislike being fingered at work. I assume this is because of men not clipping their nails and adequately washing their hands, or perhaps just personal taste. I really really enjoy it, but I find I have to coach clients a lot on how to do it a pleasurable way: like clean and tidy hands and fingernails, using lubricant, not spinning your fingers around inside, not scraping, etc.

Providers: Do you allow it? What are your conditions for digits with clients? Do you enjoy it during recreational sex if you don't do it at work?
Clients: how important are digits to you as a sex act? Would you wear gloves if you were asked to, or would you just not use digits if that were the case?

Great question, I’m very curious to see the ladies answers to this.
As a trades person I have to look after my hands. That’s my money. Long nails on a guy look ugly in my opinion. They also say “there’s a guy that sits behind a desk.” I get all kinds of crap on my hands and that means that stuff gets under my nails. Clip em. That’s a health issue. Never been for a manicure or pedicure but I would go I think.
I can empathize with the question for that fact that I really do enjoy prostate massage. I’ve had fingers with long nails go in and when done by someone who is knowledgeable, no problem. I definitely enjoy touching/stroking with my fingers, and eventually they often end up inside while performing oral or sometimes ahead of that if she’s into it. I guess that’s the crossover point…if she’s into it. I love digits, but I find many (most) clients don’t seem to get it and I don’t feel inclined to teach every single person how I like it… I also found that when I allow it regularly, I get more ph imbalance issues. So I do allow it, but very selectively… Based on each clients energy and ability to connect.

I have used digits with providers on many occasions and mutually had a great time and my hands were always clean and my nails are well manicured.
The ones that are into it I will go for it and the ones that are apprehensive I will not bother and just stick with daty.

Not every women is open to fingers especially if the clients may be inexperienced having a bad aggressive technique and their nails are too long which could cause micro tears/cuts causing her not to be able to work the rest of the day.

Josie, thank you for starting this thread (and happy birthday). I personally find that exploring with my hands gets me so much more excited during a session.

As you mention, many providers do not allow it, or only allow "gently on the outside." It is great to hear that some women do enjoy digits. I'm also looking forward to possibly connecting with some of them, and getting more feedback about it.

My impression is that it would seem too ‘clinical’

I'm not a mind reader and women are different so I need coaching and direction which I will happily follow if I am to maximize her pleasure.
