I couldn't find any conclusive info by searching the forums, so I thought I'd ask here. I'm visiting Vancouver from the States later this month and I'd like to spend time with some of the lovely ladies there. I've made a number of inquiries and a majority of them have asked for a deposit in the form of a payment or gift card. I can't seem to make the transfer happen or purchase gift cards. I'm not averse to deposits at all; it's just a part of the game. But having to deal with international hoops to jump through is turning into a headache. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

See if they'll take an on-line Amazon gift card. I have sent those to a few people in the USA from here in Canada. I just had to buy them in US funds but Amazon did all the currency exchange. I'm sure it would work the other way.

Every provider is different but I accept Uber Gift cards and prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards that work in both US and Canada. Cryptocurrency also.
You can buy hundreds of gift cards at Safeway, London Drugs, Shoppers, 7\11, a gas station. Completely untraceable. Buy them when you get here or https://www.giftcards.ca/

Why does he need to buy them in the US? Even if he has to, they can be purchased in the states, most are transferable.
