As I get older, I see newer laws, policies and situations coming into effect over the last couple of years. I find them restrictive, where once common sense was applied.

1. No turning if Pedestrians are on the cross walk. What *** came up with that law... its so stupid... If you hit a pedestrian in the cross walk the car/driver is at fault. The sign says walk not run. Cars pay for licenses, and drivers pay for driver's licences, pedestrians do not. Traffic lights are for flow of vehicles not pedestrians. You walk across the cross walk when it is safe to do so. An example of this: sailboats have the right of way, but not with a supertanker, cause they don't stop on a dime when a sailboat crosses its path, they run them over and don't even notice the slight bump....

2. Free injection sites: That is a almost Nazi Germany playbook, in order to keep the general public safe from all those needle, lets have a free injection site where they can shoot up in a nice safe place and dispose of their needles safely. There are still just as many needles in unwanted places, because junkies/addicts shoot up wherever they want. Yeah that worked.....

3. So some Nazi, came up with the ideal of fentanyl laced drugs. So when a person OD for the 4th time, maybe that person just wants to die.... leave them be. Well use American football for this, 4 downs and you lose the ball... While one side of this issue is that its murder, plain and simple. The common sense here is don't do drugs.....

4. Distracted Driving: get a voice activated phone, take phone calls by audio. Pull over/get into a parking lot and then text. Except I like my ice cream from McDonalds when I drive home.... Why else are the car manufacturers putting in cups trays if you are not allowed your morning coffee in the car.....

5. Tent Cities: Plough them down, your supposed to camp in the woods. Put them on buses, lots of free land to camp in up north above the Arctic Circle..... If you like the sun, go south of the border, People there will shoot you dead if you are tresspassing....

See how nice its is to be Canadian........

Under Genghis Khan the people has their religious freedom to worship what ever gods they wanted to. Free thinking was encouraged under his and his descendants' rule. Mostly I think to come up with better ways to war on people. He opened up the trades routes between east and west.
For years Genghis Khan was known only the history wrote by the Chinese and the Europeans that fell to his mongrel armies (well more like massacred even though their were always survivors to past on the info) . Genghis was a master of psychological warfare. The individuals that really pissed him off, he invited to a party as the guest of honor... While Genghis and his pals were drinking the guest of honor was rolled up in a nice carpet, slowly being crushed to death, by the barge Genghis was partying on.... Weird.

So I'm thinking I like Genghis. From an outcast to a leader of the known east in his time. Quite an accomplishment.

So on my left are people passing me in life? Good for them.

If you mean the socialist left, People who have the idea that "lambs should lie down with lions" (Liberal Bleeding Hearts), well I don't care too much about them. They mean well.

Life is about choices. Hard choices. Those choices can be for good or for evil.

The UN has a bill of Rights. Canada has a Charter of Rights. The Americans have a constitution. Those written words mean nothing unless all men agree to them. Since all men can't agree, those words have to be enforced by somebody/something.

Everything is debatable..... I might not agree, I might even be wrong.

I've come to not expect too much from random thoughts published @ 4:07AM. Nothing good happens after midnight.
