I have decided to cold turkey stop drinking soda. I want better skin. Any here quit soda and did you see a skin improvement? I do miss a cold Ginger Ale or MT. Dew that's for sure.

Next up Is swearing.

I am doing ok with one of my weakness. Arguing with idiots. I now just take a time out walk away and feel much better than trying to win.

Just the reduction in sugar makes no soda worthwhile. If you have to cheat, go for the flavoured waters like Bubly. They're a rip off, but healthier than soft drinks.

Rum and coke or rye and ginger pretty much is it for me, never was one to drink pop.
Swearing ... well that depends on what fucking moron is doing incredibly stupid fucking shit in front of me.
And the arguing with idiots. No shortage of them right? Couple of dialog tricks I have learned over the years in this regard:
- is this an argument that we are having? or a discussion where I hear you you hear me and we have a conversation about it?
- really? that is your point? Please, tell me more about that so I can understand better?
or if its really bad
- you know I can't go to where your argument is leading, but thanks for the time to start a discussion.
And yes, just walk away.

I’ve been thinking about cutting out soda as well… or just trying to cut back. My modification just hasn’t been strong enough yet.
kudos to you. Keep it up.

The only time I drink a pop which is during summers only, and its only a couple of times. A&W is my go-to drink. Other than that....I quit regular pop drinking many many years ago. So, in sum...a couple of times a year I'll indulge. Pop containes Bad sugar to be intaking regularly. Want sugar? Eat fruit.

I never was one to drink soda in the first place. Though I might have one a couple times a year, where I might enjoy a Zevia a couple of times a month also.

I really love sugary drinks. A few years back I had to stop because I was getting way too fat. I drink "Diet" or "Zero" versions now, which I realize is also not exactly healthy. But at least I'm slightly less fat than I was. Haven't noticed if it's affected my skin or not.

Switch to flavoured sparkling water .
It’s how I cut down on the habit of alcohol as a regular part of my weekend unwinding and socializing .

yes you will see some improvement in skin.
I saw a massive improvement in my skin when I cut down on beer and wine .
it may get worse before it gets better as your body flushes out old toxins but afterward will be worth it .

As far as idiots and morons go , yea I get triggered to .
its a daily challenge .

On the rare occasion When I remember that if I react I look worse than they do and walk away , I feel much better about myself .
Serenity now

Very very rarely will I touch the stuff. Given that I work outdoors in hot weather regularly, soda pop is something I avoid.

Rum and Coke, no Pepsi, in the winter. Gin and Fressca in the summer. That aside and your patience with idots, we are brothers.

I like carbonation; weaned my way off sugary soda and now use a Soda Stream and add lemon slices.

Quite a while ago I realized that I had a legitimate addiction to soft drinks.

I've gone through cycles where I've tried to either quit cold turkey or wean myself off by trying to make the switch to diet or zero versions. I've also gone the route of sparkling water drinks. It's a tough battle that I've lost a number of times, but in the end you just keep having to fight the good fight on it and hope that eventually you'll get over that hump.

Unfortunately I've never been successful with it, but I know many people who have been so keep working at it!

BIG sign at the grocery store yesterday, We are running out of soda due to a strike at Coca-cola. Good enough a reason to go cold turkey. ..... Or just switch back to scotch on the rocks.
