Crystal in Surrey - WOT!

Not sure if this is the best place to post this or not...tried seeing Crystal in Surrey from CL.

Had confirmed the appointment the day before, called an hour before our agreed time, then three times leading up to the date. No response, callback, text, and a no show. Wasted two hours driving out to Surrey and back for nothing.

Then she sends me an email 3 hours after our scheduled date with a lame excuse, caught her lying twice through email exchanges, then has the gaul to ask if I want to rebook. Never once even had the courtesy to apologize or anything, just kept telling me how reliable she was.

Maybe others will have better luck, but I'll be writing this one off as a complete WOT. B&W photo in the ad is from behind with her standing on the bed, one hand on each bedpost.

Maybe I expect too much, but I certainly expect better than this from perb members. You have this site, and others, it is ridiculous to post this stuff on CL -- which is for advertising, it isn't a forum for your POV, and posting it there makes you look like you are making it up for whatever reason.

At the very least, you agreed by clicking "agree to these terms" to not post this sort of thing:

In other words, you can be subject to criminal charges for posting information about someone else without their consent and for harassment.

You got a problem, that is what the flag feature is for, and posting on a review site. But frankly, imo, this is not a Neighbourhood Watch issue. This sounds more like a missed appt, miscommunication. When you called the hour before, did she answer or reply? If not, you didn't have a confirmed appt. You could have tried contacting her earlier in the day to make sure she is available/answering the phone. But assuming a newbie is committing to pre-scheduled appt bookings is expecting a little bit too much; her ad isn't professional, her approach shouldn't be assumed to be either. If this is the first time an advanced booking hasn't worked out for you, consider yourself fortunate lol.

There are ways to avoid these things & it is usually best to assume that until you actually talk to the person within an hour or two of the appt time that you really don't have an appt. Bonus if things work out.

I have to agree with this. Neighbourhood watch should be for more serious issues than missed appointments. Although the original poster did admit that he wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this. I would think the review area would have been more appropriate in this case. But I do agree with the reviewer that his time was wasted. But that's an argument for another time and in a more appropriate thread.

While I respect your opinion FO, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

There was a lot more that happened I didn't post about, and stand by my words. I don't believe I violated the CL rules, as my understanding of 'personal or identifying info' would be real names, numbers, addresses, etc. But I understand your concern, and have deleted the CL listing and ad in support.

And just fyi, this wasn't the first occurence, we did have a confirmed appt., and she is not a newbie. She has worked in the past as an Indy and for an agency, and has recently returned to the same agency. I did try several (4) times to work out the issue with her privately, but to no avail. Hence the warning to others. The Mods can always remove the posting if they feel it violates the rules.

The additional details make a world of difference, imo.

But yes, by posting on CL something that is not about you and for you, and by mentioning her and her services in a negative way, it is a violation. If you check the reasons to flag, one of the is "disusses another post", which is how this would also apply.
