Recently, I made plans to visit an SP. She is a member of this forum and I will not reveal her identity.

We exchanged a fair bit of email prior to our meeting. I understand this is somewhat unusual in the client/SP relationship.

I could feel a rapport, and from her replies I felt she did too.

We met as a business transaction, but after the time was up, we continued on a personal level. That is to say, she did not want to charge me for the time - we acted out some very personal fantasies, both hers and mine. I found out her real name.

Now, I'm not talking about love, because that is not what I feel - a very close friendship with a lot of physical intimacy is more accurate.

So my question is, "Have you ever evolved from client/SP to man/woman?"

I'd appreciate your thoughts, ESPECIALLY from the SP point of view, but everyone is encouraged to put in their 2 cents.

She obviously has some feelings for you, this is not your average sp/ client get together. maybe she's ready to have a serious relationship with someone. It must be really hard to be somebody's f#ck buddy, and not have that real true-caring intimacy that one would have in a loving relationship. I would tread lightly okanagan gent , if she's still wanting to be a sp could you handle a bunch of guys dinking your old lady? I know i couldn't.

Duff:

I believe I understand what you are trying to say.

I will clarify by saying that due to circumstances, both mine and hers, a "steady relationship" is not possible. I do not want a steady relationship anyways.

The point of my thread was that the relationship with this lady evolved from a "business" transaction to a very warm and personal friendship.

I am happy to leave it at that.

What is the definition of a relationship?

I believe that is defined by the two parties involved. As long as both of them are honest with each other and with themselves, who is to say what is going to work or not.

Not all relationships fall into what society categorizes a "relationship" and not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime. Some of the most wonderful relationships I have had were very intense, but short lived. I have enjoy each and every relationship for what it is or was.
