I was interested to see that some SP's are again advertising services on this site. I wasn't aware that the restrictions had been lifted.
Both local and travelling ladies are now advertising despite the fact that we are still under social distancing guidelines.
I contacted one of the travelling ladies (nameless for sake of this discussion) who is arriving from Montreal. Even after Phase 3 of the re-opening begins, travellers from Quebec and most of Ontario are advised to isolate for 14 days. I pointed this out to the SP and she said that she can't afford to isolate and needs to work.
I COMPLETELY understand that the ladies need an income and that they, like so many others are being hit hard by COVID, but this is playing with people's LIVES!!!! COVID can and does KILL!
It is up to everyone to do our part to minimize the impact of COVID and that means that for the time being at least we have to avoid the fine ladies that work in this trade. Men are often accused of thinking wth the little head but we MUST prove that claim wrong....at least for now!!!!
Do the right thing, the wise thing and just don't play until it is safer to do so.
You could be responsible for making someone you love very sick...or even worse. This is not just about us....transmission of the disease is REAL and we are far from being out of the woods yet.
I suggest that if you really want to help out one of your favourite ladies and regulars, ask if you can send them some $$ for an advance booking when we can return to safe practices. We can be supportive and helpful while still staying safe.
We need to send a message to the ladies that are touring and working, that it is not safe to do so and we can't support their business at this time.
