Isn't prostitution and brothels legal in New Zealand? I guess that's why she only got a warning.

Prostitution has been decriminalized in New Zealand. While it is legal in Canada, the laws contradict themselves. I'm amongst a group that's pushing to and for the same reform in New Zealand using New Zealand as a model to follow.

Never the safest place
A few months ago there was a news story about a UBC grad who went to NZ to work as a doctor, but eventually opened a brothel.
https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=43354

There is another story about him today in the Victoria Times Colonist, although you can`t read it for free online.

Some recent stories in NZ say that Canadian TV producers are interested in his story, and he was having problems finding appropriate staff to work in his `Whalers` brothel.

It looks like it has been successful there, according to a review committee.
http://www.timbarnett.org.nz/documents2/one year on.doc

Art Hanger has tried to claim decriminalization made things worse in AUS and NZ, but as usual, he is wrong. I know he`s probably just trying to appeal to the bible thumpers, but his dishonesty makes me suspicious. He is a former cop, and the ones making the same bogus arguments as Hanger in Australia were really only interested in keeping brothels illegal so they could continue getting paid off by them.

That's ok, we have 24 of them already and STILL the last Canadian team to win one.;) :) :p

How many has your team (whichever it is) won? My guess is from ZERO to about 5.

Oh are we sensitive or what:confused: ? You may have 24 of them but that is history and I am talking about the future. The Canadiens might have been the last team to have won the cup but you probably won't seem win again for at least 10 years:( . I am not an Oiler fan but I will never be a Canadien fan or ever. However, I have more respect for the all the other Canadian teams, Oilers, Calgary, Ottawa and Vancouver because of their diversity of players from Canada, America, Russia and Europe. Yes, the Habs have finally diversified themselves to date. In the past they use think the Quebec League is the only place to acquire their players:p .
I feel sorry for Hab fans because they are always talking about the past or the good old days. I guess they will talking like that for another 10 years to come or more:D :D .

So hockey is now all about DIVERSITY, here I thought it was about WINNING.:D That's the reason for your so called respect, Jesus Christ. Then please, please, please, never ever become a Canadiens fan.

Shit why am I arguing with someone who obviously knows dick all about the Habs. Bill Durnan, Ken Reardon, Frank Mahovlich, Ken Dryden, Bob Gainey, Steve Shutt and Larry Robinson are all french guys I suppose. Hell, maybe Koivu and Kovalev is French too.

You are right we should look into the future. Let me know when you have started your hockey psychic hotline.

I not a Habs fan, but I did enjoy watching them this past season. I think they will be even better next season with Samsonov and a full season of Huet. In terms of only having french guys, Quebec spits out some of the best goalies, Patrick Roy is arguable the best goalie ever, until he is passes by....wait of it....another FRENCH goalies named Martin Brodeur. Also, Koivu has been the captain there for how long? I also remember a certain hall-of-famer named Chelios (born in the USA).

Yeah I hate hearing about the 24 cups too cause some were won in a 6 team league but please don't tell me they suck!

HornyItalian? How is your favourite team? I look forward to hearing this and will gladly point out the flaws in your team even if it is my favourite team the Canucks....

...........waiting..............and I didn't use any icons!
