When you mechanic raises their shop rate, does he charge you the old or new rate? ...
Lots of companies offer discounts for regular customers.
Even brokerage houses, mechanics, and barbers.

Thank you for the kind words but I can't take them to heart. You see Panther, Ferris and QM'r all say i am GBM and that would contradict your statement.

Come to think of it....what do I care what those 3 knobs think????;)

Thank you Anna :)

I think that no matter what thread I read somehow it ends up being about HubbaHubba, GBM, QM'r, Pantherdash, Ferris, and one other I can't remember cuz its not right in my face atm. It's rather disturbing. Are you guys ok? Not getting enough attention at home and at your self help meetings? Try a sport where people come from far and wide to watch, like baseball or roller derby. That will get ya an audience and you all would look great in rollerskates and unitards arguing about who is a better fuck and whose a cop. Get real. But I am entertained I admit it. Carry on.

A rate increase with the provider not grandfathering rates for established clients is up to them to grant and solicit. There is never any harm in asking if your rate is affected but the SP should communicate that with you even if it stands.

It's all dependent on what kind of clientele the SP wants to target. The SP may lose out on valuable regulars in favour of those with more of a disposable income and you may not have the privilege of seeing them again but that's their problem not yours. Anyways, there is something there for everybody so there is no real worry in their eyes if they do it right.
Hi CLM,
I agree with you. I believe as a regular and reliable client myself, I would prefer that this SP would let me know if she's charging a higher rates to other clients, then at least notify me about the new rates to see if I could afford the new rates or not. I think that's the correct way to conduct a business (it does not matter what type of business), I believe what she's doing is just burning her own bridges.
At the moment, some clients are willing to see her but once the economy of Canada slowing down...she will take a big hit...well, I guess she never thought about that...she's more of an opportunist for the moment.

No, never, not ever. Definitely bad business. And karma.
Anna,
I think so too...

Nina,

Great post. If this SP has the same business sense like yours...I would not have posted this thread..
However, to be fair, she did have several good attributes from your post.

But the way she's treating regular clients based on $$$, that pretty much sums up what kind of service provider she is (it does not matter if she's treating clients with all attention in bed, in my opinion.)

Actually we never argued about who is a better &uck or who's a cop. You need to pay a little better attention than that. I don't mind entertaining you and you deserve the best bang for your buck. Considering you aren't paying anything, you're getting your money's worth ;)

I'll be the judge of that.
