Urban legend or truth aside

I am glad this thread has come up as I was just speaking with a lady from CA online a week ago about the challenges CA holds with their location. It is unfair to both the girls and the agency but the fact of the matter is they are the only ones who can fix the location issue. So, here I am single and I have three girls I would love to see. Very high on the top of my list is Demi. Second on my list is Dita, and third on my list is Demi+Dita. I think if I had not first heard all the ranting about the privacy issues at the CA location, I probably would have already paid them a visit. I read the threads about how it’s all an urban legend and not to worry about the neighbours. I’m not one who really falls for urban legends, I still flash my lights at night if the oncoming car does not have his lights on, I will eat pop rocks and drink coke and I don’t concern myself about waking up in the bathtub full of ice with my kidney removed. I unfortunately will not see Demi or Dita because I will not take the risk of going to CA. Maybe it’s not true that the neighbours are watching but I want my privacy in this business. I won’t pick up a street walker for the simple fact I know someone is going to see me. They may not care and probably have no idea who I am but it still bothers me. I don’t need someone coming up to me at work or pass by someone and hear them whisper that they seen me going to an escort agency or worst yet have my licence plate published on a website somewhere. I think most people are aware of the guy on CL that was doing this. The fact that the concern has been brought up and I know this is a location that could stir issues with the neighbours, I figure it’s better to be safe than sorry. I know I can have them come to me but I’m still a bit uncomfortable with that as I live in a basement suite. Long story short, true or not, I’m not taking any chances and will have to go to SU or an indy. Its a shame also, I think Demi has the best legs i've seen in a very long time.

funny story.....:D

...the practice of blaming "new staff", and also "former employees"

was started by that very same "vendictive" employee

to cover her own ass....good times

I am not a client and have since long gone, so
maybe my opinion doesn't matter ( it sure didn't while I was there )

but, *BIG HINT...you don't see this type of PR from any other agency.

Well said, Jaime...it's always the beautiful brainy busty blondes that are able to put it all into perspective. A much appreciated break from the verbal diahrrea of a certain former employee of CA. Give it a rest, already. And stop making assumptions about me based on my one phone call to CA that you took in which you were a total snotbag. Your hanging around a forum that is based on pooners and the sp's that comprise the industry (of which you belong to neither) is nothing short of pathetic. Although it seems you are indirectly providing some sort of free advertising for some sp's who are not willing to pay for it, which is an insult to those who do pay for it (MIA, A.U.D.R.E.Y., Jaime, etc). Very classy...

May I suggest....?

Check out http://www.travelodgevictoria.com/

They have a (wink wink nudge nudge) $69 special on right now...and there's never been a hotel built that didn't accommodate discrete liaisons...

And Remember Folks...a good hard on is a terrible thing to waste.

We seem to have gotten way off topic here. I am simply waiting for some official word from them about why they choose to keep emails and personal information around after the transaction is concluded (or, better yet, official confirmation that that policy has changed). If there is some great, compelling reason that makes it worth taking on that extra risk (exactly how much risk seems to be a matter of debate...I feel it is larger than some of the others here do), I'd like to know what that is, so I can make an informed choice. If not, then I will just take my business to the other agencies who do not have this policy...even if the risk is minimal, what's the point of taking any risk at all if I gain no benefit from doing so?

Easy to Answer This One

First of all, the local authorities seem quite tolerant of the sex trades here in Victoria., if they're well enough managed and run, which includes being on the up-and-up concerning disease-control, no underage, no illegal substances on premises, and not being used as a front for illegal immigration. Part of this is because even our police need a nice place to go and someone nice to unwind with when they get there. This includes most or all of the Indies or agencies you'll see or hear about here on PERB on bcdarlings.com and in the back pages of Monday Mag. All of which is the long way of saying that unless you're doing something really unhealthy or criminal sexually, heat, as in problems with the law or being exposed are kept to a minimum.

Having said that, other basic precautions you can personally take are to use a pseudonym, and change it often; call from public phones and email from your yahoo account using a computer at the public library, and don't carry ID or credit cards and always pay in cash when you poon.

O.K. you could wear a disguise. Groucho glasses and nose are good. Which I once tried, but the fake mustache fell off and got stuck in my partner's crotch. We had to call the phone lady for help.

Not impressed...

"
A lot of agencies and Indy ladies ( including myself ) offer room rental rates near 10-20%.

Why are you paying your agency ( pimp ) half of your money!!!!?????

"

I agree soooo much with that last post - I think most of the agencies are taking too much and providing too little. Im probably way out of place posting this - and might not have 100% of the facts, but let me share what Ive seen in the last 24 hours with CA cuz it somewhat pissed me off...

The lovley Dita showed up to work with me in Vancouver this weekend and was compleatly frazzeled. Apperently CA has had their phones disconected and Dita was the only one in the co. (managers, owners) to take it on herself to save CA's from not being closed all weekend. Not only thinking about herself, she wanted to help out one girl who was litterly in tears over the fact that she needed to work but couldnt.

Here we have a brand new SP (in the biz less then 2 months) dealing with Telus, Rodgers, Phone staff, Girls and Clients basically running CAs. Apperently time and effort are not the only costs to Dita, her cell phone bill jumped up $500 from the increased usage - since her personal phone was being used as the main CA phone number. Even now, though CA has someone else answering the phones, and yet another temp number- Ditas had to turn off her phone the whole time shes been in Van, becuase it wont stop ringing ..... I can only HOPE that CA will reimburse her (at the very least) the costs she incured by helping them out!!!

I worry that this newbi might being taken advantage of - as soon as she told them about her phone bill, someone should have offered to pay it right then and there - just as a simple thank you for the time and effort she put forth to save their company, as far as I know - there hasnt even been any offer to pay it at all...

I think that there are a few great girls at CAs - I hope that the clients out there will find ways to help support them - I think CA's should consider making some BIG changes, they need to do something for the loyal staff and clients... and quick !!! - hopefully they can - as I also do believe that everyone working for one or two main places in town is really not the answer either.

Cheers - Harvi
