Nope won't happen. It will never be removed once instituted. The revenue that it will generate is just too good for the province. But wait and see when election time comes around they may decrease by a percent to try and win you votes!
I hope they increase it from 12% to 15% and get rid of the provincial income tax altogether. Their carbon tax was a very good idea. I hope they have enough economic sens and political will to get rid of the income tax.
Do people realize the amount of tax payer money is now going to go towards fighting/defending this thing? Well I don't know the amount but I sure as hell don't like the idea of spending money to reverse it!!
