To the OP....glad to hear you took the bet....I hope the guy does not stiff you.....good effort on the part of the Canucks....did not get to watch but it sounded like it was a hard hitting no mercy kind of hockey game....given that the Bruins beat the daylights out of the Canucks and waltzed away with the Stanley cup last year I predict a long burning rivalry between these teams for a long time to come.

Enjoy the $500...be sure to spend it on something frivolous and wastefull and let the guy know about it LOL

Kind of like the Habs beating the Bears year after year, LOFL. Last year was a flash in the pants, once the rest of the league figure out how to beat goon hockey, your bears will go back to hibernation.

Reminds me of the bloody neutral zone trap. That pretty much killed hockey for me - and the habs basically stinking for a prolonged period.

I couldn't agree more with this statement.

Even professionals in my business degraded to drunken loudmouth punks after two beers while at an east coast conference last June. They were insufferable.

My only hope is the league smartens up and takes this style out of the game. They say they want to promote skill yet they are turning blind eye to the goon bullshit.
