Ths is desperation hockey and those knuckleheads LUV desperation; I think they'll play their hearts out. Bobby Lou's doing great; we just need some more offense!! I'm going with my heart and say Vancouver. However, logically I think Dallas will take it.i agree i think we're toast

They've exceeded my expectations that I had at the beginning of the season so if they lose, that's ok...decent season none the less. But I'd still like to see a win. They just don't seem to know how to play to win - they do a good enough job of playing not to lose but that doesn't cut it in the playoffs.
They have exceeded almost everyones expectations this year. At the start of the season everyone was just hoping they would make the playoffs and low and behold they took the division. While it would be great if they win tonight, I for one am not going to consider the season a total write-off if they lose tonight.
However, it will piss me off if they lose without making a the effort to win. But, no worries, I am taking my son to the game tonight and they have won every game he has been to this season.
I think it may be my fault the Canucks lost games 5 & 6. You see, prior to games 4 & 5, I predicted (on this board) that Dallas would win. It seems the Canucks like to prove me wrong, as they won both games. However, I forgot to post my prediction for the last 2 games. Not surprisingly, they lost. As it appears that our beloved Canucks are incapable of winning without me going on Perb and predicting a loss....

I didn't even think they would make it to the playoffs so they have
exceeded that, but they still haven't found that 'win at all costs'
attitude required for the playoffs ...
and I blame Naslund. He may have been a solid player, maybe even
'great' in some ways, but his 'oh well' attitude just doesn't cut it
when it comes to going all the way.
It hasn't changed in five years and it never will ... I will be glad when
he is gone and the nucks find someone who has the right attitude
to make it happen.
Check out Sidney Crosby ... he was getting slaughtered going to the
net every chance he had ... rumour has it he was even playing with
a broken foot ...
Naslund looks like he just got back from playing golf in Hawaii!
My prediction? Dallas by 2 - 1 in overtime.
With Naslund making six mill and a defensive minded coach....get ready for another year of this type of hockey
I couldn't agree with you more. I wish those fans would just do the typical "Go, Canucks, go!" chant instead, if they feel the need to chant anything at all. Because every time they start chanting "Turco! You suck!" before he's even let in a freaking goal, he goes on to play an awesome game. Even shuts them out!
