...listening to the Talk shows...i just love the canuckleheads, they're back in full force, the bandwagons are getting pretty packed and full...

But they're not listening to the future...loved the way Gallagher criticized their prospects, or 'lack of prospects'...after Corey Hodgson, and maybe goalie Scheider, they've got NO ONE ELSE...no Defenceman to groom to play in the next 2 years. LOL...what a joke!

Can anyone look at the Moose and project who will be a regular one day??? If the experts can't even name one, then surely any decent canuck fan can't think of anything...

I love all the people saying 'Canucks suck' just a week or two ago, and are now all giddy. No loyalty...

As for the Moose, young sniper RW Michael Grabner, D Daniel Rahimi (another young, tough Swede).... yeah, the cupboard is pretty bare. You can partially lay blame to the Nonis-Burke era for sending away draft picks for aging over-the-hill vets (Weinrich, Carney, Smolinksi, etc.) for a late-season push.

Gillis seems to firmly believe in developing prospects, as Dave Gagner is now in charge of that department... word is, he talks to Hodgson on an almost daily basis to help bring him along.

It's CODY Hodgson... and Gallagher is a pompous douche-bag. Ignore him...

Hey, leave our Moose alone - they are kicking all sorts of ass this year, something the Canucks could only dream about! :D

Correction Hubba, he actually plays on the team.:p :D
Probably better than you guys

Listen to Gallagher, Pratt, Taylor, Price...some ppl don't like 'em, but this is what they do for a living, 9-5. Read hockey, study hockey, breathe hockey. they're true canuck fans, even 'homer' if you will. Taylor would be mad at me for saying that.

but if they're the experts, saying the Nucks have NO prospects except for Cody (me bad), you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

and even then, Cody ain't no dominant player to turn this sinking, bleak future around ;)

Bj, I watch Pratt and taylor and you must rememeber that they're shows survive on ad endorsements and contiversy! Sometimes they have to say things to cause people to call in and make opinions.

Also, remember, prospects are one thing only and doesn't gaurantee that these player willl have there day in the NHL and could even get traded for other players.

Prospects are prospects and thats all.

The Manitoba Moose are definitely one of the dominant forces in the AHL at the moment. Remember that starry-eyed kid named Cory Schneider who San Jose lit up like a Christmas tree? Back in the AHL, his record is 19-3-1... yes, 19 wins, 3 losses, and 1 OT loss. It's the minors, but this kid is young and definitely has some potential. Ready for the likes of Kovalchuk, Thornton, Marleu, Iginla, etc.? Probably not... but if Luongo takes the high road next year and cashes in, it's nice to atleast have SOMETHING back there besides Felix Potvin or Kevin Weekes.

The top two point-getters on the Moose (Jason Krog 54p and Michel Ouelett 40p) seem like career minor leaguers, but it's nice for our prospects to play on a winning team for confidence and other reasons. Looking at the roster, the only names that excite me are Grabner and Schneider (unless you a get a stiffy for Jaffray or Bolduc)... yet the Moose are dominating. Should be fun to watch Hodgson, Grabner, and Schneider develop in the next year or two.

From some of the games I have been to, the Moose are a very tight team on the ice, and that makes a world of difference.

Hopefully they won't choke in the playoffs this year as they usually do... :(

True, it's entertainment, but if you take away the bickering, emotions, arms wavering, though, theyr'e really are talking about content. If not, they're jeopardizing their reputations, so they really do know what they're talking about.

What you're referring to is the way they deliver the message, as you say, it's for the ratings, ad ratings, sponsors, etc. but don't dispute their knowledge. when they say the nucks got no NHL prospects other than the mentioned few, which are still, by the way, 2-4 years development, esp. for Schneider/Krog.

How many camps has Krog cut? lol

The Canucks have sucked for almost 2 decades now. They wont be winning a cup anytime soon, and certainly not with the current roster.

thats right '94 thats about it,I've been hearing there has been a sharp rise in sprained ankles from everyone jumping on and off the bandwagon
Apparently these was a rash of those sprained ankles headed due East... I seem to remember Calgary having a pretty bad outbreak in the spring of 2005, and then it went north the following year... :D

Seems BJH has gone a little quiet since the Canucks have won their last 7 out of 8 games. Back to old faithful I guess "did she suck your good cock? "
I've been taking a break, had to help all those weak Nuckleheads like HotAc jump on the bandwagon :)

Living up to expectations? geez, that means you guys are already mapping out the Stanley Cup route? LOL...

don't think this team is sending fears down Detroit's back...

The fun thing about predicting the Stanley Cup for any particular team to not win it, you are almost always right. Then you can pretend you are a hockey expert.

"I predicted the Canucks wont win the cup and they didn't, I know my hockey"
