Canada wide national HIV testing day (June 27)

I just found this out today from a colleague who is heading down to the community health centre on Commercial drive after work. You will find out your HIV status and they will test for other sexually transmitted diseases if there's evidence for further blood testing.

I already test myself each month on getcheckedonline, but this would be an opportunity to get tested and have instantaneous results for those who did have spontaneous or accidental bareback oral or penetration.

Well I have not had any sex for over yr.
No use in getting test at this time .

I all way got the HIV test done too.
But I am not sure off I can get it right now because I had cancer treatment ,immunotherapy. The test can be very sensitive to any anti body activity from sickness or disease.
Dont have it done if you have the flue, or cold or something else ,or just got over it ..
The test can give a false positive .

I know that if you have HIV ,there are a few cancer that
.you can be more susceptible too
