dvd x copy xpress available at london drugs. is the easiest and fastest i've used in 2 years. do not buy the platinum copy you can't register it, but you can still register xpress for some reason. i warn you in advance this company has been put out of business so there is no tech support. i have read other threads on this over the last few days. have a look and see what others are using.most of the people i know use dvd shrink. all i know is this works 4 me. on my new burner it takes only 20- 30 min to read and 10min to write on a 4x disk.

dvd shrink. google it. should also find a faq on how to use it. You will need a dvd burner to use it though. ;)

I also use DVD FAB in addition to DVD Shrink. There are some large movies out there that even after you strip out unwanted files they are still too large for a 4.7 dvd. If you don't want any compression you can use FAB to break the movie into two DVD's. It even puts a "change dvd now" message on screen for you.

It would be nice to have the new dual layer DVD writer to get around this.

dvd x copy xpress leaves entire movie entact and fits on a 4.7 dvd. it retains perfect digital sound and i find the picture quality better than using dvd shrink. i have a dual layer dvd writer, and i don't use dual layered disks with this program
