I'm sorry to see Rikki go. She's done alot with the agency. The agency & there girls there have sure made me a happy man! Rikki does have a well earned retirement coming. The agency will do very well with Natasha at the helm. I do hope that she opens a branch of the agency here in Victoria as well! A lot of us guys miss BOA since they closed up here!

Very sad news that Rikki is leaving the business for her new venture. No finer lady around than Rikki! We had a good text chat recently, many years ago I sat in her living room having a visit with her, and some laughs. She knows that it was me who made an appointment very long ago, then parked out front, and instead of going in, drove off, because I chickened out due to my own paranoia. Apologized to her for it, and being the classy lady Rikki is, she said to me " Don't worry about it, we have always been good with each other, no hard feelings ". I will never forget your kindness Rikki, sad to see you go, but know that you want to semi retire, and move to a rain forest lol
You will always be remembered fondly Rikki!

Never again will my big white van park in your driveway, its the end of an era.
You know who this is, and when we texted recently, my invitation to come as my guest to my vacation home was sincere, keep my phone #, and I will always welcome you in my home with open arms.

First I would like to wish the very best to Rikki in her new endeavors. She has always been a very class act and over the years provided great advice on who I would like.
I must now get in a couple of times to visit a couple of my favorite ladies as, after May 15 they will be out of my league financially.

Hey, Garry1949 & KMP, I couldn't put it better myself!! She's a very warm & awesome person! We've had discussions on the phone & she's helped me out with good advice, etc. She will be missed, most certainly by me!! I'm just grateful she has someone as awesome as Natasha to take over the agency!!

Yes Indeed.. I too noticed this. I had heard retirement was in the works for a while, Natasha has been doing a great job as "2 IC" in the "office". BOA has been the only agency I have felt a little bit comfortable with. BUT with this announcement ... although not really a surprise,,, I am disappointed in to immediate increase in $$, and like Garry, and probably others, puts a visit out of my price range. Sad I have to say this but I am of the opinion Its not a good idea to take over a well run and well respected business, change the name and immediately up the prices dramatically. I wish Natasha luck, and will be watching, unfortunately from the sidelines, for a while.

Rikki deserves the very best in her retirement. She did way more than just schedule appointments. Her recommendations were always spot on and she would do whatever she could to accommodate us. If it wasn’t for her I would have tried this experience once and probably never again so I owe her a lot. Hopefully she orders her big motor home soon so,I can be her driver.

Hah! She asked me also if I wanted a job as her driver...

BIA can charge whatever the market will bear but I think for some they will look at $260 an hour plus maybe $50 for a bbbj and then a little bit for a gratuity if one has a great time, and now you're into the $350 an hour range... ladies that offer the extras without additional charges could perhaps get quite busy!

Or it is possible that some ladies would not have extra charges if they were getting $260 minus the agency fee. It may keep some at BIA longer.

The prices were overdue to go up to the standard. A year ago all the indies prices jumped. And 6 years ago the standard rate was 260hr in Edmonton at agencies etc. We have been blessed for quite some time. For those in financial stress one could just book for a shorter session or save up for a few weeks longer.

Rikki has been the best. Very impressed with what she has created and more impressed that she has mentored a replacement upon her retirement. Rikki has chatted me up a few times regarding the future plans. Natasha is a young woman of vision and with that I hope that BIA continues to be the better alternative to LL's or other sketchy indies. I would be so sad if Rikki just closed the doors. Thanks Natasha for stepping up. You gals rock!

Obviously, Natasha is not a botanist. Ivy is an invasive species on the Island, and its tenacity has given it a bad reputation amongst gardeners and landscapers. If a name change was required, perhaps something better could have been found.

Actually not all ivy is treated equally. Only English Ivy is an invasive plant in BC
However Boston Ivy is better loved by gardeners.
But then again according to Victoria’s mayor all cherry trees should be cut down because they are not native to Canada.
I guess I put you in the same category as the mayor
Perhaps you should look up the alternate meanings of black orchid. And explain that to us from a botanist point of view.
It begs the question….
Why would you give advice when no one asked you.

OMG and "Black" is the color of the grim reaper. Maybe she should have the new name be "Pink Pussy Willow Inn". Less invasive and more specific to the service. lmao. I thought Ivy is that which wraps it limbs around you like my favorite sp does with a firm grip. Very fitting. lol
