Blu-ray disc players

I know very little about these other than they have better resolution than my regular DVD player.

Is the one linked below a good one? Should I buy it or is Sony coming out with a better one a month from now?

Your best value for Blu Ray players is to get yourself a PS3.

Ya,the PS3 is the best Blu-ray player you can get.

And if you hook it up to the internet, it will upgrade itself.... A lot of BlueRay players out there are not upgradable, and will not take advantage of the extra features of the newer movies. There are three Profiles for BlueRay at the moment and if you start digging around you'll see that there are still quite a few 1.0 out there, and not upgradable.

The good thing about the PS3 is that as a bonus, you can actually play games aswell - and the price is actually pretty good.

Best to wait for one more year then buy the Blu-Ray player when it is more established.

Prices shoud be at least 30% cheaper then too.

I have a PS3 and I love it.

Eventually the Blue-Ray selections will get bigger and better too.

Plus..Rockband and Guitar Hero is great for late night drunk fun with friends!
