Still quite new to this, but I’ve noticed something kind of interesting for me personally.

My wife finishes me off in like 2min (and she prefers it that way, doesn’t like to be doing it for too long). There nothing spectacular about the way she does it, good suction, kung fu grip and little pauses to say “hurry up”

Your long term partner would know most of your key triggers and the best ways to get you off so it doesn't seem that surprising that you would be popping faster from oral with your partner rather than with an SP.

I think it's all mental. At least for me. Back when i was attached this would be the norm for me as well. Almost over-excited if that makes sense? Anyways, finished quick and SO was happy with that as the BJ was not highest on her fun list. 90% of BJ's i've received from SW's have been better, some truly outstanding and i have no issue truly enjoying the moment without any real effort to "hold out". There's a disconnect to "the feels", between my time with a SW and when i was with my SO that factors into this for sure. Even when i've enjoyed multiple visits with a lady i vibe with.
