Bird Flu! Fun and Games Beginning!

Get your affairs in order and update your wills boys (and girls), because it seems the next flu pandemic is upon us!

So far the impact is pretty limited, but my understanding is once this bird flu bug mutates such that it can be transmitted human to human vs just bird to human, then the real fun and games happen. This should make Katrina and Iraq and 9-11 and those pesky earthquakes and tsunamis combined seem like nothing.

Personally, I think a flu pandemic might really crimp our pooning style (even if you live )

And is it just me or is it poetic justice that things are getting worse around Thanksgiving? Turkey revenge?

Oh well, off to buy surgical masks and latex gloves and canned gods for the quarantine period!

It is not upon us YET. And I think that, if it does cross over to become a pandemic, the last thing on our minds will be pooning. The threat of a pandemic should be taken very seriously. You think SARS was scary? That killed somewhere around what? 1000 people? This fucker would, if we are LUCKY, kill 5 million.
Well, actually, on second thought, maybe pooning won't be the last thing on our minds. Maybe we will all be trying to get in as much as we can before the virus catches up to us....
