great portions and half decent pricesTry the "Bo Kong" (I think it's on Main or Fraser). It's a Buddhist Chinese restaurant, all vegetarian. They have these awesome "meat" dishes that taste like pork or beef or chicken, made entirely from non-meats like vegetables, cane, glutten, soya, etc. Very friendly to non-Chinese too, so it is comfortable for the rest of us. The food is excellent, very clean, non-greasy. Ambience is good, bright and clean. Try the deep fried condensed milk balls too.Miss Laura Lea said:

I don't like onions or garlic and apparently Buddists don't eat these either so the food isn't prepared with either. The menu said something about the bulbs creating poor "karma"!

If you like spicy food, the Green Lettuce on Victoria and Kingsway is excellent!!!!
