Bon chance!
I've recently done a bit of reading on the net about this so here's my 0.02....
Yes, there are a lot of articles that show that there's a relatively low risk of catching HIV through bbbj - HOWEVER, these articles usually also indicate that there are still risks involved ESPECIALLY when either party has open cut. What are the chances of having a "cut"? Here are some ways: brushing, flossing, zipper accidents (ouch!) just name a few. One site (sorry forgot which site) advised bbbj provider against brushing (or using mouth wash) immediately after giving head as it opens up points of virus entry. Yikes! Eww!
What is also worth noting also is that the articles & advice offered on websites are not targeted to the pooning community. Although I haven't come across a site for pooners & SPs, I would imagine that the advice and opinion on bbbj would be quite different & much more conservative.
Either way, it's really up to the SP and the pooner to assess if it's worth the risk. The pleasure, excitement, & joy of bbbj may be worth catching something!!
For me, I would rather not take the risk despite the relatively small chance of infection. I think there are enough risks involved in pooning bbbj or not.
Regardless, just remember that it ain't cool to request for bbbj when SP's want to play it safe.
