I don't often post simply for the sake of posting, but exceptions must be made!
The 1st hour was excellent, classic BSG, the 2nd hour was weak, very weak, it was like they didn't know what to do with it.
And all the build up about Hera? Again, a very weak tie in to that story line.
For fans of the original BSG (which, while entertaining was far inferior to the new BSG), you may remember that Starbuck had an angelic connection there too.
Back to the ending. Yeah, right, almost 40,000 people would agree not to form a city? To scatter about an alien planet and to abandon all their technology, medicines and what comforts they have left? Warriors and scientists turned farmers and hunters?
And Adama, finishing up a heroic life by building a cabin, living in isolation? Just him and a grave site? Too sad, pathetic and unrealistic for Adama.
Okay, critiques of my assessment may now flow.
