I had been wanting to see a certain SP for a long time but had been quite busy and her location was not convenient for me. I had read all the reviews and felt that she would be a good time.

Near the end of the summer she had advertised an "Early Bird" special, I like a morning shag so I thought...nice.

Recently I sent her an e-mail asking if she was still running said special. I was very polite and not trying to barter.

She sent me one back telling me to "reread perb and and if you cannot afford me look elsewhere."

Needless to say I was offended.

SPs are no different than any other business; some are nice while others aren't. The bottom line in the pooning business is money. Most of the ladies are in it for a short time to make a lot of money and then they're gone.

Don't be offended just look elsewhere.

while I'm sure SP's get tired of guys asking for specials all the time, it sounds like your email was innocent enough. however, she may have felt that she was very specific about the time frame the special ran, etc.

it reminds me of the joke where a guy is trying to pick up this chick in a bar and not having much success. finally he says "would you go to bed with me for a million dollars?" the response is affirmative. he then asks if she would go to bed with him for ten dollars. offended, she responds "what do you think I am?" the guy replies "we've already established that, now we are just discussing price!"

to my mind, it never hurts to ask if there is a discount (newspaper coupon, birthday, multiple hours, whatever). the response will be yes and its ......, or no, sorry. no need for anybody to get in a snit, it's primarily a business transaction after all.

I think it could be one of two things. While you may have been nice and polite about it, the five or fifteen bargain hunters before you may have been rude, pushy and downright insulting (ie-I don't think you are that hot, so you should charge me less). And she lashed out at you because she had her fill of negotiating that day. I am not saying she was justified in doing that, just giving you an idea of what the view is from the other side of the fence. Sometimes it's really hard to keep your game face on.

Or, she's just a cranky bitch and you should consider yourself lucky you dodged her.

Either way, it's nothing you did. Try not to be offended.

Since i am the one with an "early bird special thread". i just wanted to let y'all know that it certainly was not me.

I called a SP whose ad said to ask her about her specials so I politely asked her about her specials and she immediately swore at me and hung up. Who knows what makes some women tick, maybe she just gets off on berating men.

It would be hypocritical of me to lose it on anyone inquiring about the specials I offer. The one thing I don't like but regardless, I'm gracious, is when someone tries to negotiate a lower rate than the ones I have posted. The "specials" I offer are a permanent fixture and at least in my eyes are very welcoming.
