Question

Shouldn't this be in the Advertisers Section? It doesn't sound like a review to me.

I thought the idea of setting up the new Advertiser's Section for the Prairies was to avoid having paid SPs post their ads all over the place and cluttering up the review section with Spam. I see where Mischa's post recently got moved over there.

lol, would you watch a "commercials only" channel on tv? Advertising only works if you are advertising too someone. And advertising to other advertisers is just silly.

Just be glad that us advertisers pay enough to keep the board running- cause I'm sure if it wern't making money Fred would have said the hell with it years ago.

Im sure if enough people complained about tv ads in canada, they would go away.. not.

As well, advertising keep the girls busy, so they keep their jobs.

What Fred could add is an ignore feature for a posting, so the girls could advertise anywhere, and if it bothers you, then you can click ignore post, and that post won't show up on your browser.

Sorta like fastforwarding through the commercials.

Talk About Conflict Of Interest

Webguy, I find your post quite amusing since you you are the one who is taking the majority of these girls pictures and operating their websites. You should be the last one to lecture us or the Mods as to how to run this board, as you are the one most likely to benifit the most if your clients place their ads all over the place.

The advertising section and rules for paid SPs were set up because enough Perb members had gotten tired of reading the constant advertising Spam in the review sections by escort agencies and SPs. There was a long thread in the Calgary section about advertising and the way guys felt. Go have a look if you think it's just me. Just because you or certain SPs pay a bit of money to Fred Zed doesn't mean you can dictate how things are run here.

For the most part SPs have been following the rules and it has worked really well. If I want to see who's coming to town, I'll go to the advertising section and have a look, as I'm sure many others do. What gives you the impression that it's only the SPs themselves who look at this section?

As for using the ignore feature to avoid seeing anyones post, that's a good idea. I've already thought of the first person I'm going to put on it.
